The Heat have been without star guard Tyler Herro for much of their postseason run, having lost the 23-year-old to a broken hand during their first-round series against the Bucks.
The injury was expected to take about six weeks to recover from, and considering the Heat were the No. 8 seed in the East, many assumed Herro’s season had come to a close.
However, with Miami up 3–0 over the Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals, Heat beat writer Ira Winderman reported a significant update to Herro’s status.

New Orleans Saints rookie quarterback Jake Haener is drawing some attention early in his NFL career, but it has nothing to do with his on-field work.
It has everything to do with his rookie photo shoot that looks like the bastard child of a GQ photo shoot and a late-night Sears Photo Studio binge back in the day.
For official athlete portraits, there are only a few options that ever come into play. One is to bust out a grin, another is to look tough, while on some occasions, “crazy eyes” gets thrown into the mix (looking at you Brandon Tanev).

Turn up the volume, watch sensual arm wrestling, make everyone uncomfortable.
Who knew the brutal, raw power of arm wrestling could be delivered with so much sensuality.

The Boston Celtics are down 0-3 in the Eastern Conference finals and have been outscored by the Miami Heat by a combined 39 points in the series, but that isn’t stopping Marcus Smart from sending Miami a message ahead of Game 4.
Speaking Tuesday afternoon, Smart decided to say “don’t let us get one.”

While Celtics fans may appreciate Smart having confidence in his team’s ability to come back in the series, he may have wanted to keep the message to himself.

The No. 8 seed Heat were four minutes away from being eliminated in the play-in tournament by the Bulls. Now, just a month later, Miami is 48 minutes away from a trip to the NBA Finals.
The Heat have dominated the No. 2 seed Celtics in all facets over the first three games of the Eastern Conference finals, using hot shooting and stifling defense to take both games in Boston and Game 3 in Miami.
Now, Miami has Boston in a 3–0 series hole, one which has never been overcome in NBA playoff history.

The NFL’s adoption of fair catch rules on kickoffs similar to those used in the NCAA Tuesday morning inaugurated a new era in special teams. Now, any fair catch made before the return team’s 25-yard line on a kickoff will result in the ball being placed on the 25-yard line.
However, the rule has met with broad opposition, particularly with special teams coaches and players. Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, “special teams coordinators unanimously opposed the change,” despite its ostensible implementation in the name of player safety.

After missing the cut at the Cognizant Founders Cup, eight-time LPGA winner, Nelly Korda will not play in the Mizuho Classic.
Eight-time LPGA winner Nelly Korda will not play in the Mizuho Classic as she chose to withdraw because of back soreness. She took to social media to explain why she won’t be at the event and that a treatment plan is in the works.
“Never fun or easy news to share but I have made the decision to withdraw from next week’s tournament at the advice of my medical team to address pain in my back.

When the Phillies signed Trea Turner to an 11-year, $300 million contract in the winter, it was one of the biggest moves of the offseason. At the time, the defending National League champions added a top shortstop on the second-biggest deal of the winter.
However, Turner hasn’t lived up to his contract to begin his Phillies career. Through 46 games, the shortstop has totaled a .693 OPS, which would be his lowest since his rookie season, with just four home runs and six stolen bases.

Name, Image and Likeness has changed the entire landscape of collegiate athletics, just ask Auburn athletic director John Cohen. The 56-year-old, who left the same position at Mississippi State in October, recently spoke to how a focus on NIL impacts other projects like renovations and upgrades.
It is as simple as this — nice facilities are great, but they ultimately do not matter if the athletes that reside within them are not up to the standard of the SEC. If your team is bad, the beauty and functionality of its practice field is largely irrelevant.
