The Bruins have had a stellar first season under head coach Jim Montgomery. They’ve been the toast of the league this season and for good reason. They cemented their place in the record books with a 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday afternoon.

The Diamondbacks believe they have a star outfielder in the making in 22-year-old Corbin Carroll, and on Saturday, they inked a deal to keep him with the organization for the foreseeable future.
Arizona and Carroll are in agreement on an eight-year contract worth $111 million, according to a report from Steve Gilbert of MLB.com. There is a club option for the 2031 season that would bring the total contract value to $134 million.

Bud Grant, the only man to ever play in the NFL, CFL, and NBA, has died at the age of 95.
Born in Wisconsin, Grant played college football, basketball, and baseball for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. After his collegiate career had come to a close, Grant was drafted by the Minneapolis Lakers in the NBA draft, as well as the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL draft.
Grant played two seasons with the Lakers (including an NBA championship in 1950), then played a pair of seasons with the Eagles.
