Anthony Richardson could end up being the first quarterback selected in the NFL Draft when it is all said and done. Although most people who watched him play in college would advise against that pick, and suggest taking C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young or even Will Levis before him, the former Florida Gator’s stock only continues to rise.

Anthony Richardson Is Fastest Rising Player On NFL Draft Boards, Might Be Biggest Gamble In First Round

Richardson is a freak athlete. He was built in a lab.

No animal is at the center of more inspirational phrases than dogs, and UCLA men’s basketball coach Mick Cronin is acutely aware of this.
“Legs feed the wolf,” “hungry dogs run the fastest,” and many other idiomatic expressions about dogs and eating are plastered across locker rooms at every level.
Cronin went a step further and rounded up a giant dog bone.
With that, the “Deflection Bone” was born.
“When they throw the food out at night from a restaurant, the law of the alley says that the hungry dog’s going to get the bone,’’ Cronin told USA Today.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the former All-Pro may become a free agent.
After nine seasons with the Vikings, former All-Pro wide receiver Adam Thielen’s time in Minnesota may be coming to an end.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that there is a “real possibility” that the Vikings release Thielen in the coming days, as the two sides prepare to meet. Thielen, 32, is coming off a season in which he caught 70 passes for 716 yards and six touchdowns.
The veteran has taken a step back in the Vikings offense as Justin Jefferson has emerged as perhaps the NFL’s best wide receiver.

Assistant coach Norm Roberts will serve in his place in the team’s quarterfinal game against West Virginia.
Kansas coach Bill Self will not coach the Jayhawks in Thursday’s Big 12 quarterfinal against West Virginia after being hospitalized with an illness, the school announced.
“Kansas Men’s Basketball Coach Bill Self will miss today’s Big 12 Tournament game as he recovers from an illness. Assistant coach Norm Roberts will serve as the acting head coach. Self is doing well and receiving great care at the University of Kansas Health System,” the statement said via CBS Sports.

Nick Saban’s dad wasn’t a fan of his son’s poor music grade in eighth grade.
When the seven-time national champion brought home a D in his music class because he refused to sing, Nick Saban Sr. gave his son a very powerful life lesson.
If you don’t get your grade right, you’ll be working in the mines the rest of your life.

A much-needed win over Portland was a good start, but Boston’s problems run deep.
Inside TD Garden on Wednesday, there were some unusual sights: Jaylen Brown laughing. Marcus Smart smiling. Fans cheering. The Celtics winning.
OK, not that unusual. Boston’s 115–93 win against Portland was its 46th of the season.
It kept the Celtics within two games of Milwaukee for the top spot in the Eastern Conference and maintained a two-game cushion over Philadelphia for second.

Baltimore’s starting safety will be suiting up for a different AFC team next fall.
The Jets are set to acquire Ravens starting safety Chuck Clark in exchange for a 2024 seventh-round pick, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Schefter notes that the trade has been agreed to by both sides but cannot be processed until the start of the new league year on Mar. 15.
Clark started all 17 games for the Ravens last season and made 101 tackles as a key member of Baltimore’s secondary.
