Kershaw’s wife, Ellen Kershaw, announced the passing of the pitcher’s mother, Marianne Tombaugh, during a ceremony on Sunday, in which Kershaw’s foundation, Kershaw’s Challenge, dedicated a pair of refurbished baseball fields in Inglewood, Calif.
During Ellen’s address, she touched on how Tombaugh was always an avid supporter of Kershaw throughout his upbringing in baseball.

A potential suitor has emerged in the growing discussion regarding where the Jaguars could relocate ahead of the start of extensive renovations to their home stadium beginning in 2025.
On Friday, Steve Hogan, the CEO of Florida Citrus Sports, joined the conversation on possible host cities by casting Orlando as a destination with the Jags’ temporary move seemingly on the horizon. Hogan oversees a nonprofit event management company that operates various events, such as the Citrus Bowl, from Orlando’s Camping World Stadium.

A messy battle has ensued involving Oregon Ducks tight end Spencer Webb, who tragically passed last July at Triangle Lake, near Oregon’s campus, due to a diving accident.
Days after the 22-year-old’s death, Instagram influencer Kelly Kay — who had just begun a relationship with Webb — announced she was pregnant with the late football player’s baby.
