Deion Sanders famously told several of his now-former Colorado football players that he was “bringing his own luggage” from Jackson State, so the holdovers should probably hit the transfer portal.
Some found it funny. Others thought it was disrespectful. Prime, meanwhile, claims he was simply speaking the truth to a bunch of players who just went 1-11.
“How’s that disrespectful?” Sanders asked The Pivot podcast earlier this week. “How did I get here? You know how? They were 1-11. Who respects 1-11? Nobody. I wasn’t being disrespectful. I was being honest.

The Warriors’ chemistry continues to be off.
Whenever the Golden State Warriors take two steps forward this season, it seems like they always take another step back. The defending champs felt primed to go on a big run up the standings coming out of the All-Star break. They had won five games in a row, and were preparing to get Stephen Curry back. Curry returned to the lineup on Sunday against the LeBron James-less Los Angeles Lakers, but the Warriors blew the game in the fourth quarter.

It’s been established over the decades that celebrating early is never a good idea. That said, if you can pull it off in the NBA the early celebration becomes one of the coldest, and most demoralizing moves in the game.

The Cowboys tagged Tony Pollard instead of Schultz, so the tight end is free to explore his options.
The tight end position was a complete disaster in fantasy football last season. Just one player (Travis Kelce) finished with over 300 PPR points, while only two others (T.J. Hockenson, George Kittle) hit the 200-point mark. Mark Andrews, who was the top tight end in 2021, scored fewer than 200 points. Heck, Taysom Hill (who plays both quarterback and tight end) was a top-10 player at the position last season.
One of the better tight ends in the league, Dalton Schultz, scored 142.
The Fighting Irish coach didn’t think the game featured an ‘A’ crew.
The Mike Brey era at Notre Dame came to a close on Tuesday night, with a 67–64 loss to Virginia Tech in the ACC men’s basketball tournament.
The Fighting Irish finished 11–21 with a 3–17 record in league play, finishing in the No. 14 spot in the league. The team will miss the NCAA tournament after a return to the Big Dance a year ago, which was Brey’s program’s first appearance since 2017.
Naturally, Brey spent time after the game reflecting on his time at Notre Dame, which dates back to 2000.
