With July 4th in the rear view mirror, fantasy football season is just around the corner. The pod is back from vacation with Matt Harmon and Yahoo Sports Frank Schwab continuing our summer ‘Flip the Script’ series. In the latest installment, the two try to identify this year’s Cincinnati Bengals: A Super Bowl contender that crumbles for one reason or another.

For the “soccer is boring” crowd, definitely don’t show the first half of Spain against France in the Euro Championship semifinal as an example!
France scored an early goal thanks to a fantastic assist from French star Kylian Mbappé. Mbappé made a perfect cross right to the head of Kolo Muani, who sent the ball to the back of the net for a 1-0 lead.
That goal was sweet, but nowhere near the quality of the goal scored by the 16-year-old phenom for Spain.

He’s 16, and I’m old
What were you doing in the summer when you were 16 years old? Washing cars, maybe working at the local movie theater to pick up some change without having to ask your parents? What about scoring one of the best goals of the Euros to tie you with France in the semifinals? Any takers there?
Well that just happened for 16-year-old Spanish forward Lamine Yamal, who became the youngest goalscorer in Euros history with this banger against France in the semifinals.

Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Josh Allen officially changed his name, according to a social media post by the Pro Bowler.
He wants to honor his family with the name change, but it’s hard not to wonder if sharing a name with Buffalo Bills star quarterback Josh Allen played a role in the decision.
The Jaguars’ defender officially changed his name to “Joshua Hines-Allen,” which clearly distinguishes him from the Bills QB.

OH NO!
Doming a toddler with a baseball is right up there in the pantheon of “things that could go wrong during a live news broadcast,” and that’s just what happened in Arizona last week.
YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS WITH THE SOUND ON.

Tiger Woods revealed his reasoning for not captaining Team USA at the Ryder Cup next year at Bethpage Black.
In a surprising twist that shocked the golf world—and even Keegan Bradley himself—the PGA of America hand-picked Bradley to captain the United States team at next year’s Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.
Before the announcement, many speculated that Tiger Woods would lead Team USA on the Black Course, where he won the 2002 U.S. Open. But Woods turned down the offer a few weeks ago.

The Pittsburgh Pirates have never been known as one of Major League Baseball’s biggest spending teams. Over the past six seasons, their highest payroll figure is just $84 million. Shohei Ohtani by himself is making $70 million, though with most of it deferred.
In most years, that lack of spending is irrelevant, considering the Pirates have yet to develop a consistent, quality farm system and competitive major league team.
