Nick Kyrgios won’t be playing in the French Open after sustaining a foot injury due to his Tesla being stolen earlier this month.
According to Kyrgios’ agent, Daniel Horsfall, the tennis star’s mom was held at gunpoint in Canberra, Australia by a suspect who demanded the keys to the car. His mother called out for Kyrgios as he was nearby, and it is expected that he sustained his injury moments later as the suspect drove off in the Tesla.
“With all the stuff that was going on, Nick lacerated the side of his left foot,” Horsfall told Reuters. “We don’t know how.

The NFC West appears to be a top-heavy division that might split into two races by October.
After delivering another impressive draft class, the Seahawks will likely push the mighty 49ers for the division title, and they might be two of the best teams in the NFC.

The former Defensive Player of the Year poked some fun at himself on Thursday
T.J. Watt is one of the NFL’s best defensive players. The Pittsburgh Steelers pass rusher was named the league’s Defensive Player of the Year following the 2021 season, when he racked up a league-leading 22.5 sacks along with 21 tackles for a loss. Last season, while he did not repeat as the NFL Defensive Player of the Year, he recorded another 5.5 sacks over 10 games, and reached his fifth-straight Pro Bowl.

The AFC North saw plenty of movement this offseason.
While the Browns worked to upgrade their defensive front, the Steelers attempted to add sizzle to their roster both through trade and the draft. In Baltimore, the Ravens extended quarterback Lamar Jackson while giving him a pair of new receivers to work with. As for the defending division-champion Bengals, they found a new left tackle in Orlando Brown Jr., while remaking the back end of their secondary.

Mitch Trubisky should be applauded for his ability to keep securing the bag.
Trubisky has had a rocky career in the NFL after being the second over all pick by the Chicago Bears back in 2017.
He could never get things rolling in Chicago, left to backup Josh Allen for a single season before signing with the Steelers prior to last season.
The UNC product appeared in just seven games and the team went a disappointing 3-4 in games he appeared in. However, that hasn’t stopped him for continuing to get paid.

Former Alabama star Brandon Miller reportedly is not making strong impressions on teams ahead of the NBA Draft.
Miller is viewed as the second best prospect in the draft behind only Victor Wembanyama. The Charlotte Hornets hold the second overall pick, and all signs seem to point to Miller coming off the board directly after Wembanyama.
However, it sounds like things aren’t going well behind the scenes with Miller and NBA franchises during the pre-draft process, according to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony.

Conference commissioner Brett Yormark hasn’t been shy about the fact he wants the conference to expand.

Yormark is very open about wanting to grow the conference. The belief has been he’d target the west coast, and possibly try to raid the PAC-12 for Colorado, Utah, Arizona State and Arizona. It remains to be seen. If it fails, it looks like the Big 12 might go east and try to snatch UConn.
