We look at some of the best MLS players to sign with new teams in the East.

Indiana Fever star rookie point guard Caitlin Clark is not the first WNBA player with whom Chicago guard Chennedy Carter has had issues.
The difference this time for Carter is that Clark is on another team.
The Sky is Carter’s third team in parts of only four seasons in the WNBA, and she has been suspended or benched by two of them for poor conduct and locker room issues with teammates.
Veronica Garcia, a 16-year-old high school track runner, won the 2A girls 400-meter state championship race in Tacoma, Washington late last month. While that may feel like a normal, run-of-the-mill type of story, it’s not, given the fact that Garcia is a transgender athlete, also known as a biological male.
Garcia posted a time of 55.75 seconds in the state championship race beating the runner-up by a full second. According to The Spokesman, Garcia was met with boos from the crowd when they took the lead.

The Mavericks are the underdog in the NBA Finals, but there’s still a pathway to a championship.
For most of this season, the Dallas Mavericks looked like they didn’t have enough talent around Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving to breakthrough in a loaded Western Conference. That all changed at the Feb. 8 trade deadline, when Dallas — sitting at No. 8 in the West at the time — mortgaged their future in two bold trades that saved the season.

Who could replace Esteban Ocon at Alpine for 2025?
WIth Monday’s news that Alpine and Esteban Ocon were parting ways at the end of the 2024 Formula 1 season, much of the start to Canadian Grand Prix week focused on where Ocon could land for 2025.
Now we can turn to the options for replacing him at Alpine for 2025.
How Alpine handles this decision may speak volumes at how they view their present, and their future.
Caitlin Clark has been hip-checked to the floor in a non-basketball play by Chennedy Carter and multiple veterans around the league have been open about the former Iowa star having to earn her stripes in the WNBA. It’s abundantly clear that Clark is getting not-so-special treatment as a rookie who is already the face of the league, but ESPN’s Rebecca Lobo doesn’t exactly see it that way.
Every step Clark has taken since joining the WNBA has been over-analyzed, but for good reason.
Chennedy Carter is getting lit up after making comments about not regretting hammering Caitlin Clark.
Carter spoke to the media Monday and made it clear she has “no regrets” about dropping Clark from behind after appearing to call her a slur.
The Chicago Sky guard didn’t even have the guts to square up face-to-face with the Indiana Fever rookie. Instead, she hit her from behind when Clark couldn’t defend herself.
It was a disgusting and ugly moment for the WNBA, and Carter proudly claiming she has “no regrets” was certainly something to behold.

Joaquin Niemann has played tremendously all year, but his shortcomings on ‘Golf’s Longest Day’ show how difficult U.S. Open qualifying is.
Joaquin Niemann, widely regarded as one of the best players in the world, will not tee it up at the U.S. Open this year.
Niemann, who DataGolf has as the ninth-ranked player in the world, carded a pair of 1-under 71s in final qualifying, thus missing a playoff by a stroke.
Angel Reese was truly on one Monday when it came to dealing with the media.
Reese and her Chicago Sky teammates continue to take serious heat after the events that went down Saturday against the Fever and Caitlin Clark.
Sky guard Chennedy Carter dropped Clark with a brutal cheap shot after appearing to call her a slur, and Angel Reese appeared to celebrate the dirty play.
While the WNBA has received an unprecedented amount of attention, it’s hard to call the conduct and the aftermath anything short of embarrassing.
Now, Reese is claiming she can be a villain.
Justin Jefferson earning $35 million a year breaks the NFL pay scale in a way that is great for non-quarterbacks but challenging for general managers.
