I guess the Miami Heat fan I met in a tattoo parlor hours before the game tipped didn’t end up needing the prayers or moments of silence he was asking for, because what an absolute clinic put on by Erik Spoelstra, Jimmy Butler, and the entire Heat in their 123-116 victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Brooks Koepka believes there is a very simple fix to the slow play issue in professional golf, rules officials just need to start stroking guys.

Speaking ahead of this week’s PGA Championship, the four-time major winner admitted that slow play is a problem in the professional game, especially during major championships. This is when he used the rather unfortunate, and as the kids say “sus” phrase explaining how he would resolve the issue.
“Honestly, I’d start stroking guys. If you’re going to take that long, you’ve got to get stroked,” Koepka said.

The NFL on Wednesday proudly announced the return of its Accelerator Program, and with it returns the fact NFL owners have a diversity divide issue and the league is trying to address that issue of inclusivity with a program that embraces exclusion.
The Coach Accelerator program will run during the NFL’s spring meeting starting Sunday to Tuesday in Minneapolis.
Per the NFL, the program “aims to increase exposure between owners, executives, and diverse coaching talent, providing ample opportunity to develop and build upon their relationships.

The Yankees and Blue Jays will play the last game of their four-game series at the Rogers Centre in Toronto Thursday night.
In case you haven’t been watching, there is no love lost between these two teams. On Monday, Blue Jays announcers implied Aaron Judge could be cheating, setting social media ablaze. Then on Tuesday, Domingo German was ejected from the game, accused of using an illegal substance. The Yankees won both of those games, with Aaron Judge even homering twice on Monday.

I’m a child of the 1980s and ‘90s, so I love listening to the old hair bands. Give me a little Motley Crue, Warrant or Poison over most of today’s music any day! One of my other favorites was Skid Row, who busted out with their big hit “Youth Gone Wild.”

With more relaxed restrictions on weed in the NFL, Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward is calling for the League to reinstate former Pittsburgh wideout, Martavis Bryant.
The Steelers vet advocated for Bryant’s reinstatement, now five years removed from the NFL, on his “Not Just Football” podcast.
Hayward said that with society and the League getting more progressive with a green-friendly rulebook, guys like Bryant, 31, and ex-Pro Bowler Josh Gordon, 32, deserve a second opportunity.
