The Bears already have engaged in trade talks with three teams.
All eyes are on the Bears in regard to the 2023 NFL draft. Chicago owns the No. 1 pick and is reported to be leaning toward trading it. Bears general manager Ryan Poles directly addressed the storyline when Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer asked him what the chances are that they deal away the pick.
“Strong,” Poles said at the recent NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis. “Over 50%.”
All things considered, it’s still early in the process. The draft is still more than seven weeks away.

Still, there were little wins along the way. One came on Monday Night Football in Week 7.

The Knicks won their ninth game in a row thanks to an epic double-OT win over the Celtics to headline Sunday’s action.
The NBA is amazing. That’s all I have for this intro. Sometimes, I have to let the games — well, my words about the games — do the talking. So, I’ll do just that.
TO THE SCORES.

Quickley, Knicks top Celtics in 2OT to win ninth-straight, 131-129
Full disclosure: I tend to write these recaps as the games end.
Both sides are pushing to have a contract in place before Tuesday’s franchise tag deadline. Plus, updates on where things stand with Geno Smith and Derek Carr.
The next few days should help to clarify a few things on the quarterback market. And that’ll start with a negotiation between the Giants and QB Daniel Jones that ramped up in Indianapolis at the scouting combine. I actually would’ve told you a couple of weeks ago that it was going to be tough for the parties involved here to find a middle ground long-term deal before the start of the new league year in mid-March.
