Anthony Richardson is a nice player and a nice NFL Draft prospect. He’s a guy that might be a serviceable NFL starting quarterback.
He needs to be drafted into a good situation with a veteran quarterback from whom he can learn while spending a season or two on the bench.
But if the betting odds are any indication, he’s quickly becoming a player that people view as “the guy” and that’s just ridiculous.

Mercedes still looking for answers after a tough first weekend of the 2023 F1 season
The first week of the 2023 Formula 1 season ends with Red Bull at the top of the Constructors’ Championship, and a non-Ferrari team sitting in second place.
However, following a tough opening weekend, Mercedes is not that team.
Instead it is Aston Martin who heads to next weekend’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in second in the Constructors’ while Mercedes sit in third. Lewis Hamilton finished the day in fifth, with teammate George Russell finished in seventh.

Troy’s season ended after the blunder.
It is one of the most egregious mistakes a group of officials has made in recent memory.
During the Sun Belt women’s basketball tournament, Old Dominion was inbounding the ball with a one-point lead and less than five seconds left in regulation against Troy on Friday. While both teams took their time setting up for the inbound play, it became clear to the broadcast team, the crowd and to both teams that Old Dominion had six players on the court. The referees appeared to be the only ones who didn’t notice.

Alonso and Stroll both secure points as Aston Martin leaves Bahrain in second place
Coming out of pre-season testing ahead of the 2023 Formula 1 season, expectations began to grow regarding Aston Martin. Despite the absence of driver Lance Stroll due to a training injury, and in spite of an early red flag for reserve driver Felipe Drugovich in the very first practice session, the team and their 2023 challenger, the AMR23, looked like one of the strongest teams throughout three days of testing in Bahrain.

March Madness has begun, baby! I wrote this week that Penn State is an NCAA Tournament team, regardless of what happened Sunday.
But what happened Sunday should remove all doubt. Hosting No. 21 Maryland, the Nittany Lions trailed by as many as 16 points in the first half, by 13 points at halftime and by 11 points with five minutes left.
Despite the deficits, the Lions went on a crazy run at the end of the game, scoring 17 points in the final five minutes. They held Maryland to just five over the same stretch.

There’s shifting, and there’s whatever you call what Boston did against Joey Gallo.
Thanks to MLB’s new rule restricting the infield shift, gone are the days of second basemen playing in shallow right field and shortstops moving to the other side of the diamond. But that doesn’t necessarily mean wonky defensive alignments are a thing of the past.
Case in point? The Red Sox’s tactics against Twins outfielder Joey Gallo in a spring training game on Friday.
Boston complied with the league’s rule by keeping two infielders on each side of second base and all four on the dirt.

With three players scoring two goals apiece, Liverpool ran away from its fierce rivals at Anfield on an historic afternoon.
At halftime of one of English soccer’s fiercest rivalry, Liverpool and Manchester United were locked in a tight battle that saw the former hanging onto a 1–0 lead. Then, the floodgates opened.
Much to the delight of the home crowd, Liverpool ran away with its biggest-ever win over its bitter rival in shocking fashion, scoring six second-half goals in a 7–0 rout Sunday.
