Sam Huard, the former quarterback at Washington, announced Monday that he will play at FCS program Cal Poly next season.
“Excited for the next chapter, #rollstangs,” Huard said in a tweet.
Huard joins a Cal Poly program that finished 2-9 and 1-7 in the Big Sky Conference in the 2022 season.
Huard, the No. 5 quarterback in the 2021 edition of the SI99, entered the transfer portal on Jan. 10. The move stems from the success of Huskies quarterback Michael Penix Jr.
