Hate him or love him, you have to admit that there’s never a dull moment involving Patrick Reed. Not only did he trade jabs (and tees) with Rory McIlroy all week at the Dubai Desert Classic, but Reed found himself in just his latest cheating controversy as well.
During Sunday’s third round, Reed’s tee shot on the Par 4 17th was lodged in a tree. He and a rules official identified his ball stuck in the tree which then allowed him to take an unplayable penalty below.
Identifying the ball saved Reed at least one shot.

Yes, it’s in LA when it should be in Daytona – there’s a reason people leave California for Florida, you know – but we’ll let that slide here. Don’t want to dampen the mood on our first race week of the year.
The offseason is over, boys and girls.
It will be a special Super Bowl for the Kelce brothers.
Eagles center Jason Kelce and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will make history in Super Bowl LVII, as they will become the first pair of brothers to oppose each other in the Super Bowl.
The two All-Pro brothers play significant roles with their respective teams and have an extremely close bond that will need to be put aside for a few hours as they both look to win the Lombardi Trophy.
After the Eagles won the NFC championship on Sunday afternoon, Jason commented on the potential of facing his brother in the Super Bowl.

The NFL’s best broadcaster is poised to be pushed out to make way for Tom, and that’s unfair.
Enjoy Greg Olsen while you can, because the NFL’s best broadcaster could be two weeks away from being out of a job. Olsen was hired to keep the seat warm for Tom Brady, seen as the greatest prize in football broadcasting (for some reason), and now Olsen has proven that he’s the best, most dynamic, and engaging broadcaster we’ve had in years.
