Joel reflected on Mahomes’ draft in Philadelphia in 2017. Then, Joel talked about Jalen Hurts and how he transferred from Alabama to Oklahoma. He discussed how Jalen Hurts changed the offense for Alabama and how he got pulled from the National Championship to put Tua Tagoviloa in the game. He went to Oklahoma and had a great year. Joel then reflects on his interactions with Hurts at Oklahoma.

Despite the blowout loss, the San Francisco veteran defensive back felt good about his personal performance.
The shorthanded 49ers were routed on Sunday afternoon in the NFC championship 31–7 at the hands of the Eagles.
It was a tough end to the year for San Francisco, especially considering the fact that Brock Purdy was injured on the first drive of the game. He came back in the second half out of necessity, but was not a threat to throw due to his elbow injury sustained in the first quarter.

Super Bowl LVII is set, as the Chiefs (14–3) will take on the Eagles (14–3) in a battle of the top seeds from the AFC and NFC, respectively.
Philadelphia cruised to a 31–7 victory over shorthanded San Francisco on Sunday, while Kansas City edged Cincinnati 23–20 on a late field goal at the end of regulation.

It’s a tough night to be Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Joseph Ossai. Especially when your own teammates are blaming you for losing the AFC Championship Game.
The Bengals lost out to the Kansas City Chiefs, 23-20, on a 45-yard field goal by Harrison Butker. The kick was aided by a 15-yard penalty called on Ossai after he hit Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes as he was running out of bounds, warranting an easy Unnecessary Roughness call by the refs.

Multiple teammates consoled Bengals linebacker Joseph Ossai after he drew a late hit penalty that put the Chiefs in position for a field goal that delivered a Super Bowl berth for Kansas City. One teammate in particular was not pleased. Linebacker Germaine Pratt was yelling on the way to the locker room about the foul.
