The NFC Championship between the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers wasn’t much of a contest. Niners QB Brock Purdy was injured on the second play of the game and the Niners’ offensive issues spiraled from there, with Philadelphia opening up a huge lead.
Frustrations began to boil over on the San Francisco side, naturally, leading to a skirmish in the fourth quarter.
Niners WR Deebo Samuel got into a skirmish with the Eagles defense near the end of a run, and pushing and shoving began between the two teams.

If there’s anyone who knows about NFL Playoff games, it’s Tom Brady. After all, he’s played in 48 of them.
So it’s no surprise that Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes called him up for advice heading into Sunday’s AFC Championship.
“I talked to Tom a little bit, I have a good relationship with him now,” Mahomes said. “He gives me a lot of advice. Why would you not want to learn from the GOAT, man? Anytime anybody like that wants to give me advice, I’ll take it in.”
Patrick Mahomes sought advice from Tom Brady ahead of Sunday’s AFC Championship game.

The 49ers are in a world of hurt at quarterback in the most important game of the season.
San Francisco quarterback Josh Johnson was thrown into the fire in Sunday’s NFC title game after starter Brock Purdy injured his elbow on the first offensive possession of the game for the 49ers, and that was just the start of their problems at quarterback.
Purdy was listed as questionable to return with the elbow injury, and Johnson took the reins of the offense.

The Cowboys pass-rusher may be watching from home, but the NFC East rivalry is clearly still alive and well.
Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons is still willing to dish out some smack talk even though he is watching Sunday’s NFC championship between the Eagles and the 49ers from home.
Though Philadelphia took a 7–0 lead early in the title game, San Francisco managed to knot the score back up on a powerful rush from star running back Christian McCaffrey, in which he broke multiple tackles on his way to the end zone.
