Warriors star Stephen Curry was fined $25,000 by the NBA for throwing his mouthguard into the stands during the team’s 122–120 win over the Grizzlies on Wednesday.
Curry was ejected from the game after throwing his mouthpiece with a little over a minute left in the game on Wednesday. 
Curry’s anger was sparked by teammate Jordan Poole‘s shooting a long three-pointer instead of passing the ball to an open Curry after he motioned for him to do so.

Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett was arrested for suspicion of public intoxication in Dallas on Sunday morning, Rebecca Lopez of WFAA-TV reports.
According to police, officers were dispatched following reports of a man banging on doors. They found Bennett and “determined he was intoxicated,” arresting him at approximately 6 a.m. Sunday morning in Old East Dallas. He was reportedly taken to a city detention center.

Two-time national championship-winning quarterback Stetson Bennett was arrested in Dallas on early Sunday morning. OutKick was able to confirm his arrest through a Dallas Police report.
Bennett, 25, was charged with public intoxication at an odd hour of the morning. The arrest occurred around 6:00 a.m. CST in the 1600 Block of Tribeca Way in Old East Dallas.

Officers responded to reports of a man who was banging on doors in the area.

Kansas City may have another ailing star on the field for Sunday’s AFC championship game.
Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce is expected to play against the Bengals in the AFC championship game on Sunday despite being limited in practice this week with back spasms, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. 
Kelce was listed as questionable on Kansas City’s final injury report of the week after reportedly tweaking his back in practice on Friday. The eight-time Pro Bowl selection did not speak with the media that day after practice, as he was undergoing treatment.

Whoops.
On Saturday night, all the MLB award winners from the 2022 season received their awards at the Baseball Writers Association of America dinner. The event was the culmination of a season’s worth of accomplishments for the best players and managers.
However, one set of awards appears to feature a critical spelling error. Last year’s Cy Young winners, Sandy Alcántara and Justin Verlander, posed for photos with their award plaques, allowing fans to get a closer look at the hardware.
