Grizzlies star forward Jaren Jackson Jr. found himself at the center of a controversy in NBA online circles Saturday morning through no fault of his own when a Reddit user stirred the pot with an inflammatory post that suggested the Defensive Player of the Year candidate was benefitting heavily from a home scorekeeper bias.

Garoppolo, who suffered a season-ending ankle injury last month against the Dolphins, told The Athletic Friday his status for a potential Super Bowl was still “up in the air” and that he could he “do everything on his still-mending foot but sprint.”
Garoppolo returned to practice last week to do rehab work, but still hasn’t done anything football-related.

Ahead of the AFC championship on Sunday, the Bengals made a surprising move to fill their roster for the game. Cincinnati announced that it promoted quarterback Jake Browning from the practice squad, giving them three active quarterbacks for the game.
Browning played in college at the University of Washington, starting for four years which included a 39–15 record. In total, he threw for over 12,000 yards in four years for the Huskies with 94 touchdowns to just 34 interceptions.
