The quarterback is dealing with a high ankle sprain.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will play on Sunday vs. Cincinnati despite suffering a sprained ankle last week, which shows his toughness and determination. The sixth-year quarterback has started to become known for his competitiveness and will that allows him to play through some injuries.
His trainer, Bobby Stroupe, seems impressed by Mahomes’ competitiveness as well.

It’s a situation that any parent with multiple children has. But on a much BIGGER level.
One kid has to be somewhere at one time, while the other also has to be somewhere at an entirely different location.
It’s in times like these when parents show how much of the superheroes they are. Juggling not only their own work to put food on the table, but giving their children the opportunities to explore and try out new things to see what they like.
But it doesn’t necessarily stop once the child gets their license and can drive themselves to an event or wherever they need to be.

The Falcons named Saints co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach Ryan Nielsen as the franchise’s next defensive coordinator Friday, poaching the well-regarded assistant from their division rival. Nielsen will replace Dean Pees, who retired at the end of the 2022 season at the age of 73.
Almost as notable as Atlanta’s hire of Nielsen was the manner in which the club’s social team announced the move.
Taking to Twitter on Friday evening, the Falcons tweeted out an eye-rolling dad joke to accompany the official announcement of the hire.

The final four is set in the NFL with the championship games kicking off this Sunday. While those four teams prepare to battle it out to make the Super Bowl, 28 other teams sit at home trying to figure out what went wrong and how they can get there.

Dozens of international and domestic flights operated by Spanish flag-carrier Iberia were disrupted on Saturday by a problem in the company’s booking and boarding system, the airline said. Five flights – to London, Lisbon, Vigo, Barcelona and Jerez de la Frontera in southern Spain – were cancelled, a spokeswoman for Iberia, part of International Consolidated Airlines Group, said. “Due to an incidence in our systems, booking and boarding services have been stopped at several airports,” Iberia tweeted.

If management can hit its restructuring goals and a long cycle of investment in the industry plays out, then this equipment and services company is set to benefit.

According to The Wall Street Journal, franchises from Boston, Utah and the San Francisco area are in advanced discussions for NWSL expansion.
