Former NBA player and certified hot-head Matt Barnes always seems to find trouble. But over the weekend, trouble found him.

Days after students protested campus conditions at Bethune-Cookman in the wake of the Ed Reed saga, university AD Reggie Theus fired back at Reed’s accusations that the administration doesn’t care about the students.
Speaking to HBCU Gameday, Theus, a former NBA player, said Reed knew exactly what he was signing up for before agreeing to become the school’s next head football coach.
How? Because, Theus said, he took him around the Daytona Beach campus and showed the NFL Hall of Famer everything.
“Ed was completely aware of our situation at Bethune-Cookman,” Theus saud.

Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett has played his last game wearing the Bulldog helmet. There were conversations about him playing in the upcoming Senior Bowl, but it appears to not be happening.
According to Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy, Senior Bowl reps did have discussions with Stetson Bennett team about potentially participating in the upcoming event, but Bennett’s side decided he would focus on the NFL combine and draft.
It should be noted that Bennett was never officially invited to the Senior Bowl. The game takes place on Saturday, Feb. 4, in Mobile, Ala.
