At least one of Learfield’s local offices will soon have a new look.

The New England Patriots will have a new offensive coordinator in 2023, but he’s certainly a familiar face in Foxborough.
According to Adam Schefter, the Patriots have agreed to a deal with Bill O’Brien to be the next offensive coordinator in New England. O’Brien was a member of the Pats’ coaching staff from 2007-2011 and had spent the last two seasons as the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach under Nick Saban at Alabama.
O’Brien was the OC for the Patriots in 2011, a year they lost the Super Bowl to the New York Giants.

The Michigan Wolverines will take steps to address the tunnel system at the program’s football stadium.
The single entrance/exit tunnel at Michigan Stadium has long been the center of controversy due to the fact the choke point has led to multiple unnecessary situations. None are more famous than when several Michigan State players got into a massive melee with a pair of Michigan players.
Now, the program will make some immediate changes to help ensure safety for players and staffers moving forward.

A familiar face is rejoining Bill Belichick’s staff.
After a stint at Alabama serving as offensive coordinator under Nick Saban, Bill O’Brien is heading back to the NFL to the same role with a very familiar franchise: the Patriots.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Chris Low, O’Brien is returning to New England to take the reins of an offense that sputtered in 2022 without a traditional coordinator. While in Tuscaloosa, he had some overlap with the most important player at his new job: quarterback Mac Jones
The news marks O’Brien’s second stint with the franchise.
