Wild Card weekend lived up to the name for the NFL but the league now turns the page to the divisional round. Not only does this round have fewer puns available, but it could also struggle to match the excitement of last weekend.
While the Wild Card games were full of a lot of fun, there weren’t a lot of upsets.

Jake Garcia has reportedly pulled the trigger on transferring to Missouri.
The former Miami QB recently hopped into the portal, and apparently, he didn’t need much time to find a new home.
The talented young passer will transfer to Missouri, according to ESPN. It’s expected he could be enrolled “by the end of this week.” Garcia has three years of eligibility remaining.

Now, not only did Texas A&M have a horrible 2022 campaign, but the Aggies also lost the most players in the offseason, according to The Athletic.
Of the 25 scholarship players who left, eighteen were blue-chips recruits and eight were former top-100 guys.

The Wisconsin/Northwestern game has been called off because of COVID-19.
While most of the sports world doesn’t even think about COVID anymore and rightfully so, Northwestern has now had to cancel two straight games because of the virus.
First, the Wildcats couldn’t play against Iowa. Now, the Wisconsin Badgers announced Thursday night the game scheduled for Saturday “will not be played due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols within the Northwestern program.”
It’s 2023, and we’re still out here canceling events because of COVID-19.
