Xavier’s leadership is continuing to rip West Virginia University men’s basketball coach Bob Huggins regarding controversial comments he made this week.
Lashing out against Huggins during a school event on Wednesday was Xavier president Colleen Hanycz.
‘Inclusive’ Xavier President Calls Out Huggins’ Comments
During a radio segment Monday morning, Huggins used the term “f*gs” to describe Xavier basketball fans after the group threw dildos (yup) onto the court during the Crosstown Shootout.

Grizzlies guard Ja Morant did not earn a spot on any of the three All-NBA teams on Wednesday, and in the long run the snub will end up costing him approximately $39 million.
Morant signed a designated rookie max extension last summer with Memphis, which was worth $192.2 million over five years. That number could’ve increased to $231.4 million (which is 30% of the salary cap) over the course of the five years if Morant would’ve received a second consecutive All-NBA designation.

Did this D-III baseball player go too far with his outrageous bat flip?
The ump certainly thought so and booted the player from a college game for his ‘gaudy’ trick.

Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo earned another All-NBA nod this season, the seventh of his career.
Antetokounmpo was the only player in the NBA this season to be a unanimous selection for the All-NBA first team. In doing so, he achieved a remarkable distinction which hasn’t been done in the league in the past 50 years.
The 28-year-old now has been a unanimous first-team selection in each of the past five seasons, an achievement no player has accomplished in at least half a century, per ESPN Stats and Info.

The Suns’ dire situation in the Western Conference semifinals has gone from bad to worse.
Phoenix guard Chris Paul will miss Game 6 against the Nuggets with a left groin strain, the Suns announced Wednesday evening. Additionally, center Deandre Ayton is questionable with a rib contusion, according to the team.
Denver leads the best-of-seven series, 3-2.
Paul has been out of action since straining his groin in Game 2 of the series in a contest Denver won 97-87 to take a 2-0 lead.

The NBA released its All-NBA teams on Wednesday, an annual tradition of honoring the top players from the season. But as much as the day is about applauding great performances, it’s also about tracking the reactions from players who felt snubbed by being left off the illustrious lists.
Grizzlies star Ja Morant could likely be considered among the aggrieved.
Morant did not end up making any of the three All-NBA teams after earning a second-team selection last year. He was the top vote-getter among guards who missed the cut, with 10 second-team votes and 14 third-team votes.

The Colorado Rapids issued a statement Wednesday in which they revealed a player had been removed from all team activities in connection with unlawful sports gambling.
The announcement came amid reports that 21-year-old midfielder Max Alves had received a sum of money in exchange for picking up a yellow card during a match in the 2022 MLS season.
According to Gustavo Guimaraes of Territorio MLS, Alves’s name appears on a document which was released by Brazilian authorities, indicating he’d received R$60,000 (roughly $12,100 USD) to be booked in a match against the LA Galaxy.
