Pac-12 Conference officials have long been the butt of the joke, but there may not be anymore jokes to make because there many not be any officials left. The ‘Conference of Champions’ is facing an officiating crisis.

According to Football Zebras, five referees have left the Pac-12 in recent weeks. Four resigned, one retired.
Mike Mothershed hung it up after 28 years with the conference.

Tottenham was absolutely embarrassed during its 6-1 loss at Newcastle on Sunday, but to the club’s credit, players are stepping up to make the horrific experience a bit easier for its fans to swallow.

U.S. Soccer has appointed Southampton director of football operations Matt Crocker as the nation’s next sporting director. 
The 48-year-old Welshman replaces Earnie Stewart, who led the U.S. men’s national team through the 2022 World Cup before leaving to become PSV Eindhoven’s director of football. 
Before his role overseeing the youth academy setup at Southampton, Crocker was England’s head of development teams, where he helped the FA develop the “England DNA” structure that created continuity from youth teams to the senior national team.
