Let’s grade the blockbuster trade sending Kevin Durant to the Suns.
The Phoenix Suns and Brooklyn Nets agreed to a blockbuster deal in the early morning hours of NBA trade deadline day that sent shockwaves through the league, placed an MVP candidate in the West, and immediately transforms the championship picture.
Kevin Durant has been traded to the Phoenix Suns. In return, the Brooklyn Nets get Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, and four unprotected first round draft picks.

Welp, it’s the end of an era in Brooklyn.
Good morning, I’m Dan Gartland. New Yorkers can celebrate one thing today: the return of cheap Nets tickets.

This is one of the most incredible highlights I’ve ever seen.
In the midst of NBA trade madness came one of the wildest moments you’ll ever see from a tiny D3 game in New Jersey. NJCU was hosting Rowan on Wednesday night and found themselves down 71-67 with just 5.2 seconds left on the clock. Then this happened.

The first three is impressive enough.

The Nets sent the 13-time All-Star to the Suns in an overnight blockbuster trade.
Newly acquired Mavericks point guard Kyrie Irving made his Dallas debut Wednesday night, and afterward he lobbed a barb at the Nets in reaction to the overnight trade of Kevin Durant to the Suns.
In another blockbuster deal reminiscent of Irving’s recent move to Dallas, Brooklyn completed the dismantling of its former big three almost a year to the day after dealing James Harden to the 76ers. After his Mavericks debut, Irving threw his support behind Durant while subtly jabbing his former team.

The Kelce brothers weren’t supposed to be NFL stars. Here’s how they beat the odds to make Super Bowl.
Before podcasts and dating shows, Christmas albums and Super Bowls, Jason and Travis Kelce were football players at the University of Cincinnati.
Back in college, the Kelce brothers were playing at different spots than the ones you will find them this weekend, when Super Bowl LVII gets underway from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The winding path both brothers followed, from Cleveland Heights to the pinnacle of their sport, is one worthy of revisiting.

By nature, athletes are bred to have that competitive edge to them at all times
So if you think that Michael Jordan of all people is TRULY happy for LeBron to set a new record and accomplish something that Jordan himself didn’t, you’ve got to be out of your mind.
In a statement to TMZ Sports, Jordan kept it short and simple.

“Congratulations to LeBron on this incredible achievement. It’s a testament to his hard work, longevity, and his great skill.” – Michael Jordan on LeBron James breaking NBA all-time scoring record.

The Brooklyn Nets as we’ve known them for the past few seasons are no more, and Kyrie Irving isn’t exactly upset about it. Not only is he happy that he himself exited the organization, but he’s also happy that Kevin Durant escaped Brooklyn as well.
News of the blockbuster trade sending Durant to the Phoenix Suns broke late Wednesday night with T.J. Warren joining Druant in Phoenix in exchange for Cam Johnson, Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder, four first-round picks, and additional draft compensation.
Kyrie Irving is happy that his now-former teammate, Kevin Durant, escaped Brooklyn.

His fandom doesn’t lie with either of his former teams.
JJ Watt became a superstar with the Texans, and finished his career with the Cardinals. However, he’ll be rooting for a different team now that his NFL career is over, and it probably won’t come as a huge surprise.
Watt’s brothers, TJ and Derek, both play for the Steelers. TJ Watt has proven to be a similar defensive force to his older brother, tying the NFL single-season record with 22 1/2 sacks in 2021 and earning Defensive Player of the Year honors that year. He’s a three-time first-team All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowler.
