Report: Arsenal & Chelsea face competition for £50m transfer
Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly set to face competition from Real Madrid for the potential transfer of Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen.
The 19-year-old has impressed in the Premier League this season and it looks likely that there’ll be plenty of clubs chasing him this summer.
CaughtOffside were recently informed of Huijsen being a target for the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano also told us that Chelsea have Huijsen as one of the names on their radar ahead of the summer.

Lando Norris said he was “not getting ahead” of himself, despite making the perfect start to the new Formula One season in Melbourne. The McLaren driver topped all three qualifying sessions to grab the first pole of the year from team-mate Oscar Piastri as McLaren finally showed their full hand.
With wet weather forecast on Sunday, Norris will be nervous about a repeat of Brazil last year when his title hopes were washed away.

While it was a historic night for Steph Curry against the Sacramento Kings, Thursday night also marked the long-awaited return of Jonathan Kunminga. After missing 31 consecutive games due to an ankle injury, Kuminga rejoined Steve Kerr’s rotation on Thursday against the Kings for the first time since Jan. 4.
Kuminga came off the bench, playing 20 minutes against the Kings, showing no signs of rust. The fourth-year wing picked up right where he left off prior to his injury, scoring 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field to go along with three rebounds, an assist and a steal.

Some National League defenders will be seeing double for the rest of the season – literally.
Identical twins Kyrell and Kyreece Lisbie, both former Watford youth players, have been reunited at Braintree Town.
And between them, they have hundreds of thousands of followers on TikTok, where they post videos about the highs and lows of life as a young footballer.

The Philadelphia Eagles continue to stock up on former New York Giants players, this time agreeing to terms with linebacker Patrick Johnson.
In his reunion with the Eagles, Johnson joins former Giants running back Saquon Barkley and cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, who agreed to terms earlier this week.

The 27-year-old Johnson was a seventh-round pick of the Eagles in the 2021 NFL draft.

James Hudson joined the New York Giants during free agency this week, leaving the Cleveland Browns for the — ahem — greener pastures in East Rutherford.
What Giants fans might not know is that Hudson has an uncanny resemblance to musical icon T-Pain.
T-Pain capitalized on that resemblance with a hilarious post on X about turning the franchise around.

Man Utd ready splash the cash on rising EPL star who ‘plays like Cole Palmer’

Manchester United are amongst several English and European clubs interested in Southampton teenager Tyler Dibling.
Even though the Saints are enduring a torrid campaign that will culminate in an inevitable relegation to the Championship, the 19-year-old has been one of the few bright spots at St. Mary’s.
After being promoted to the first team in the summer, the Englishman has thus far scored twice in the Premier League, and also has a similar tally in the FA Cup.

Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri made it a McLaren one-two in qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix, while Lewis Hamilton took eighth on his Ferrari debut.
Norris and Piastri made life difficult for themselves with mistakes on their first laps in the final part of qualifying, but both produced strong laps on their final runs.

Liverpool “CLOSE” to beating Manchester United to €60m transfer
Liverpool are reportedly close to winning the race for the transfer of Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes in a potential €60m deal.
The Reds have previously been linked with the likes of Martin Zubimendi and Joshua Kimmich as potential midfield reinforcements ahead of this summer.
And now it looks like reports in Brazil expect them to move to sign Gomes from Wolves, with the 24-year-old also previously being on the radar of Manchester United.

Lando Norris began the 2025 F1 season in perfect fashion, topping all three qualifying sessions to grab pole in Australia from team-mate Oscar Piastri as McLaren finally showed their hand.
There had been claims from rival teams that McLaren, fresh from their constructors’ win last year, were up to a second quicker than the rest and had been sandbagging in pre-season.
