This tournament has been everything people want — so why are people mad?
If you want to argue that the 2023 NCAA men’s basketball tournament has been bad: You’re wrong. You’re factually, objectively wrong. I totally get being disappointed your team didn’t go further or having an axe to grind with the process because of all the top seed failure — but stepping away from emotion this tournament hasn’t just been incredible, but historic.

After an uncommonly unpredictable season in men’s college basketball, we’re left with the most unpredictable Final Four of all.
Good morning, I’m Dan Gartland. I’m not sure who to root for in the men’s Final Four on Saturday. If the team from my home state, UConn, loses, then I’ll win a bracket pool for the first time.

Deion Sanders isn’t a huge fan of anything that interrupts football.
Sanders has been grinding it out with the Buffaloes ever since Colorado hired him to take over the program in Boulder.
Recently, he went mega-viral for telling his players to make smart decisions on break. The legendary NFL defensive back made it clear he didn’t want to have to attend a funeral.
Overall, the six games attracted a total of over 90,000 fans this past weekend.
The National Women’s Soccer League kicked off its 2023 season in historic fashion over the weekend.
Throughout six games on Saturday and Sunday, the NWSL averaged an attendance figure of 15,002 fans, which shattered the league’s previous record. The previous mark was 10,150 fans, set in 2022.
Before last season, opening weekend typically saw an average of four-digit numbers. That number likely will continue to grow as NWSL expands its footprint and awareness.
It took a little over a month, but we finally had ourselves a good NASCAR race Sunday at COTA.
I know I know, Fontana was pretty good. But around here we don’t grade on a curve. We need it all — fights, yelling, crashing, good racin’ and overly emotional drivers calling for their own firing.
And hey, thanks to Bubba Wallace, we got that last one, too!
More on OutKick fan favorite Bubba in a bit.
Along the way, we have so much to fit in I don’t know that I have enough inches to do it (relax, it’s an old print newspaper joke you animals).

Iowa star guard Caitlin Clark made history Sunday night as she became the first player in the women’s or men’s NCAA tournament ever to have a 40-point, triple-double game.
She also had some fun late in the game when she performed one of the most savage celebrations you’ll ever see.
First, let’s talk about Clark’s huge night. She finished with 41 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds in a 97-83 win over Louisville that sent Iowa to the Final Four. That stat line is just bonkers.

The 21-year-old thought he was getting bad news when he was called into the manager’s office.
Anthony Volpe grew up in New Jersey as a Yankees fan and dreamed of wearing the team’s famed pinstripes on Opening Day ever since he was a kid. New York manager Aaron Boone made that dream a reality when he called the 21-year-old shortstop prospect into his office at the end of spring training—but not before making him squirm a bit.
The Yankees posted a video of Volpe coming into the office, and Boone appeared as grim as ever.
“Difficult conversation to have to have,” Boone said.
Now could be a convenient time to get the ball rolling in the right direction with coaches and executives staying at the same hotel in Phoenix for the NFL owners meetings.
It’s going to be an interesting couple of days at the NFL owners meetings at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, where you’ll at least have everyone in one place, which could help in one particular situation.
This is a big week on the Aaron Rodgers front.
San Diego State head coach Brian Dutcher was in prime form Sunday after beating Creighton.
The Aztecs punched a ticket to the Final Four after upsetting the Blue Jays in the Elite Eight, and Dutcher will now have the opportunity to coach in his first Final Four as a head coach.
After cutting himself a piece of the net, the man responsible for leading the Aztecs decided to do a trust fall with his players.
Give it a watch below. It’s a perfect example of what makes March Madness the best time of year for sports fans.
