This week’s PGA Tour event is sure to provide plenty of fireworks as the low-scoring CJ Cup Byron Nelson tournament gets underway Thursday at the TPC Craig Ranch, arguably the easiest course on tour each year. 
The field is light on superstars—Jordan Spieth is the biggest name and has the lowest odds to win—but rife with opportunity to win some money as everyone has +1400 odds or higher. 
Jason Day won this tournament last year with a final score of 23 under and K.H. Lee won it the previous year at 26 under.

The Carolina Panthers have a very unique aversion to delaying pleasure. Whether it’s their owner, David Tepper, who has shown impulsive behavior over the years or the organization as a whole, the Panthers have most certainly not wanted to wait to use their NFL Draft picks.

To this end, from a business perspective, Melo believes 2024 Team USA is on pat with the 1992 Dream Team when it comes to hype. That’s a serious statement when talking about the most famous basketball team of all time.

The Kansas City Chiefs signed tight end Travis Kelce to a two-year, $34.25 million extension on Monday, making him the highest paid tight end in regards to average annual salary.
Kelce spoke about the extension on this week’s episode of the New Heights podcast that he hosts with his brother, retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.
While the Chiefs star expressed his gratitude to the team for making this deal, he also acknowledged how significant this contract is to the future of tight ends’ deals. He hopes to see other players earn lucrative deals like him.

Tyrese Maxey was the NBA Draft steal that wasn’t so surprising.
Deuce McBride flashed to the middle of the lane and caught a pass from Jalen Brunson as the New York Knicks’ star was getting trapped on the perimeter. McBride calmly stepped into a free throw line jumper and swished it, giving the Knicks a six-point lead on the Philadelphia 76ers with 29 seconds left. Down 3-1 in the series, Philadelphia needed a miracle to avoid elimination in the final seconds of Game 5.
Somehow, Tyrese Maxey delivered it.

Maybe the prayers from Sin City work and Tom Brady comes out of retirement to play for the Las Vegas Raiders. That way he can own the whole heart of the city instead of just a small piece of the team as a minority owner.
Maybe the speculation that Brady is wavering about retirement and could return to play for friend and Raiders owner Mark Davis is more than just smoke.
Maybe that’s the grand plan to cure the quarterback drought in the desert.
If the Raiders don’t at least ask Brady to come out of retirement and play for them, well, they’re not doing their jobs.

It might seem as though it transpired last year, due to all the different news coming out of college athletics, but the Tennessee and Virginia lawsuit against the NCAA has now paved the way for other states to join the action. 
East Tennessee federal judge Clifton Corker granted a temporary restraining order against the NCAA following the filing of an antitrust lawsuit that went after the organization for preventing players from negotiating NIL deals with collectives before enrolling at a particular school.

An anonymous bidder dropped $10,000 yesterday to acquire a rare one-of-one, autographed Clark Rookie card after it went on sale via her new licensing deal with Panini trading card and memorabilia company.
Meanwhile, I’m over here complaining that Taco Bell $1 tacos aren’t available anymore!
In March, Panini signed their first ever female exclusive deal with Clark as she was dominating the NCAA Women’s Tournament.
