Three-time WNBA champ Diana Taurasi had sobering remarks about Iowa star Caitlin Clark, who’s entering her first year as a pro as the top WNBA draft pick and projected to be the face of the league.
Clark’s fans weren’t happy with Taurasi’s comments, prompting the 41-year-old vet to respond to her haters, calling them soft for their ‘desperate’ defense of Caitlin Clark.

The San Diego Padres entered the 2023 season with high expectations, thanks to a high-priced lineup filled with stars. Juan Soto, Manny Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr. and Xander Bogaerts were supposed to lead the Padres back for a deep postseason run after losing in the NLCS to the Philadelphia Phillies in 2022.
But San Diego started poorly, stumbling to a .500 record by late April thanks to an underperforming offense. At the time, Machado told Padres fans that no one should jump off the bandwagon after a poor offensive showing.

When Davante Adams departed the Green Bay Packers for the Las Vegas Raiders in a blockbuster trade in March 2022, quarterback Jordan Love was entering his third full offseason of backing up quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The 2020 first-round pick hadn’t received his chance to shine just yet.
After the trade, Adams immediately signed a five-year contract with the Raiders, giving a vote of confidence to his future with then-Las Vegas quarterback Derek Carr over uncertainty surrounding the Packers’ situation under center.

Footage was released showing the shooting incident involving Houston Texans wideout Tank Dell, who suffered a minor gunshot wound at a Florida nightclub on Saturday.

A 16-year-old suspect, Christopher Bouie, connected to the scene was arrested late Saturday after midnight.

New York Yankees outfielder Juan Soto unleashed a mammoth home run during Tuesday’s loss against the Baltimore Orioles, and he boldly opted to stare down pitcher Dean Kremer as he began to trot the bases.
When asked after the game about the staredown with the Orioles’ starter, Soto told reporters that he chose to glare at Kremer because the right-hander didn’t like his “Soto Shuffle.”
“I bet he didn’t like the homer, too,” said Soto, via Bryan Hoch of MLB.com.
