Los Angeles appears on the verge of getting its star player back on the court.
For the first time in over a month, LeBron James’s impending return from injury appears to be in sight.
The Lakers announced Saturday that James, who hasn’t played since Feb. 26 due to a right foot injury, has been upgraded to “doubtful” for Sunday’s game against the Bulls. The 38-year-old was previously listed as “out” for the contest.

Atlanta’s point guard received his 15th technical foul of the season on the play.
Hawks star point guard Trae Young was sent for an early shower on Saturday following a heated altercation with an official during the third quarter against the Pacers.
Young was ejected from the game after he threw the ball in the direction of an official “with force,” per Brad Rowland of the Locked on Hawks podcast. Atlanta’s point guard was visibly unhappy with a call from referee Sean Wall, before frustratedly firing the hard pass toward him.

Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young was ejected from a game against the Pacers on Saturday after throwing the ball at a ref.

According to ESPN, Young had just been whistled for an offensive foul that set the Pacers up for a game-tying three-pointer. Understandably, he wasn’t happy about this.
However, he chose maybe the worst way to express his frustrations during an ensuing timeout.

GREENVILLE, S.C. — There is no finding a defense that matches No. 1 South Carolina’s.
Nothing else in college basketball comes even close. The Gamecocks are simply too physical, too talented, too perceptive. They lead the nation in almost every key defensive metric. So to find a comparison, it’s necessary to search instead for a metaphor, and there is perhaps none better than a hydraulic press.
