New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson is enjoying his best season yet, and he showed just why Saturday night when his latest on-the-court move lit the internet on fire against the Sacramento Kings.
With just over 40 seconds left to go in the game and the Knicks leading by three points, Brunson was sizing up Kings defender Keon Ellis. But Brunson noticed that the young guard kept turning his head around to look for a screen. Seeing this, the Knicks star got creative.

It appears as though New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers won’t be hitting the campaign trail this year after all.
Rodgers, reportedly a vice presidential candidate for Robert F. Kennedy’s presidential campaign, is out of the running, according to a report from Diana Falzone of Mediaite. Kennedy reportedly is setting his sights on California attorney Nicole Shanahan as his running mate, per Falzone.
Rodgers, 40, was named as a potential running mate for Kennedy on an independent ticket, along with former Minnesota governor, WWF wrestler and actor Jesse Ventura.

The madness is already here. Don’t let anyone tell you any differently.
Earlier this week, in a phone call with ESPN’s Pete Thamel, SEC commissioner Greg Sankey made clear what has been the worst kept secret in sports for a couple of years now: In concert with his increase in power, he plans on doing what he can to expand the NCAA tournament and tip the scales even more in favor of the sport’s power players.
I love St. Patrick’s Day. It’s a day when we celebrate the Emerald Isle with green beer, corned beef, green beer, leprechauns, and more green beer.
But North of the border — in that kooky, backward land known as Canada — they’ve got another way to celebrate the occasion: the Toronto Maple Leafs‘ St. Pats jerseys.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have been busting out special throwback get-ups on or around St. Patrick’s Day for years. The reason is fairly obvious: sure, they’re tipping their caps to the Irish, but the real nod is to the Leafs’ team history.
The final minutes of the Los Angeles Lakers–Golden State Warriors game Saturday night was a disaster, and LeBron James had the perfect NSFW reaction to the debacle. Thanks to three coach’s challenges and a malfunctioning shot clock, the final two minutes on the game clock took 23 minutes and 27 seconds of real time to complete.
Both coach’s challenges came within seconds of each other, and then the shot clock malfunctioned—leading to ESPN mics picking up James having a Roger Murtaugh moment in real time.
It sounded as if the Kevin Keatts era at North Carolina State might have been coming to an end before the ACC tournament started this past week in Washington, DC.
After finishing the regular season with seven losses in their final nine regular-season games, there were rumblings that this could be Kevin Keatts’ final week as head coach of the Wolfpack. That was until his team pulled off what will be remembered as one of the best conference tournament runs in the history of college basketball.

Wisconsin basketball coach Greg Gard isn’t going anywhere.
Gard’s seat had grown increasingly hot since the start of February when the Badgers went 3-8 in the team’s final 11 regular season games.
After an incredible first few months that saw the team shoot up to sixth in America, the Badgers collapsed in unreal fashion.
It looked like the team was in for another disappointing season under Gard. Fans were throwing in the towel and in open revolt.
However, fate sure is a funny thing in sports, and Gard sealed his Saturday with a stunning upset over Purdue.
Dejan Joveljic scored in the third minute and Maya Yoshida added a goal in stoppage time to help the LA Galaxy play St. Louis City to a 3-3 tie on Saturday night. Yoshida flicked in a diving header, off a free kick by Gastón Brugman, from right in front of the goal to make it 3-3 in the fifth minute of stoppage time. Joveljic finished a series of quick passes with a wide-open side-netter from the center of the area to give Galaxy (1-0-3) a 1-0 lead.
