Team USA elected to leave the greatest women’s college basketball player in history, Caitlin Clark, off of its Olympics roster for the upcoming 2024 Summer Games in Paris.
Many people have questioned that decision for a multitude of reasons. The first, and perhaps most important, being that Clark is the biggest star in women’s basketball and one of the most famous athletes in the country right now.
She draws massive audiences to WNBA games both on television and in the arenas.

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark doesn’t seem too heartbroken over the fact that she was left off the USA’s women’s Olympic basketball roster.
Over the weekend, the USA Olympic committee announced that Clark would not be a part of the 12-player roster that will compete in Paris for the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics. The move shocked many Americans, especially given that fans seem to care far more about women’s basketball games when Clark is playing.

Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic has been downgraded from probable to questionable (Thoracic Contusion; Right Knee Sprain; Left Ankle Soreness) for Game 2 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics on Sunday night.
Doncic, who played in Game 1 and scored 30 points, has been dealing with ankle and knee injuries since Game 3 of the first round against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Luka Doncic is now listed as questionable for Game 2. He has a thoracic contusion in addition to the right knee sprain and left ankle soreness he has been playing through.

It may as well have been the slogan for the entire event, in the semifinals of the French Open, Carlos Alcaraz revealed that the key to winning clay court tennis matches was to enjoy the suffering. On Sunday afternoon, and then, as evening spread over Roland Garros, there was more suffering than enjoyment. But in the end, the Spaniard prevailed and won the third major of his ascending career, beating Germany’s Alexander Zverev in the final 6–3, 2–6, 5–7, 6–1, 6–2.
In a strange, mercurial and episodically brilliant match, Alcaraz overcame both himself and his opponent.

Back in April, Reggie Bush officially got his Heisman Trophy back. But according to the legendary USC running back, there’s more good news coming for Trojans fans.
Bush believes the next step to making things right is for the NCAA to reinstate USC’s National Championship title. And while speaking to TMZ Sports at Los Angeles International Airport earlier this week, he guaranteed it would happen.
“Absolutely,” he said. “Absolutely!”
Bush was one of the most electrifying college football players in history.

We are three rounds into the Memorial Tournament and it looks like Scottie Scheffler is set to return to the winner’s circle to capture his fifth win of the 2024 season.
Despite an ultra-rare triple bogey by Scheffler on the 9th hole, the No. 1-ranked golfer in the world still shot 1 under par on the day to extend his lead on the field by one. If the live odds are any indication, the three golfers who are tied for second have little hope of catching him on the final day.
