The Denver Nuggets have opted to skip the customary White House visit that comes with winning an NBA Championship. And Charles Barkley isn’t pleased with that decision.
The Nuggets were originally scheduled to visit the White House for their glorified photo-op with the President in late January, but the Biden Administration had to reschedule because of a conflict on its end.

LeBron James was out with a sore ankle for the Los Angeles Lakers’ Friday night game against the Milwaukee Bucks. In his absence, the team got a superstar performance from guard D’Angelo Russell in the 123–122 win, which had the future Hall of Famer fired up.
Russell led all scorers with 44 points, shooting an impressive 17 of 25 from the field and 9 of 12 from three-point range in the win. He added nine assists and six rebounds in the effort, and scored eight points in the final 73 seconds of the game.

Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald is just a few months into his new job, but he already has to make important decisions regarding the quarterback position.
During an interview on 93.3 KJR radio in Seattle on Friday, Macdonald was asked whether Geno Smith will be the starter again next year, and the first-year coach declined to give a definitive answer.
“The first thing that I want everybody to know is that as an organization we’re always looking, we’re always trying to figure out what’s best for the team all the time,” Macdonald said.

Wake up this morning feeling nostalgic as you flipped on Scooby-Doo and poured yourself a nice bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch?
Well, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
Remember little league? Those were the days, huh? The drama, the smells, the egos, the “bring that foul back to the concession for a free treat” being blared 100 times a game?
The best. Simpler times. Definitely better times.
Anyway, they still exist in some parts of the country, and apparently we’re now throwing hot mics on the youngins to see and hear exactly what’s going on in the infield line.

NBA referees have gotten so bad that even the players are openly calling them out.
Last night, Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert was immediately ejected after being called for a foul right before the end of regulation and giving the money finger sign to referee Scott Foster.
Here’s a closeup of Gobert’s money hand gesture that earned him an ejection from the game and DEFINITELY some sort of fine.
Foster’s call on Gobert was a game-changing one as the Wolves were up 97-96 before the game eventually went into overtime and Minnesota lost to the Cavs.

Former Vanderbilt quarterback Mo Hasan recently took to social media claiming that the Italian mob was paying players in the SEC to fix college football games during his time in the conference.
During a recent podcast, the quarterback claimed that a member of the mob approached him at a bar in Nashville, where he offered Hasan $300,000 to fix a football game he was competing in. Not only is this a pretty bold claim to make, but throwing it out there that the mob was involved might not be the smartest thing to do.

Boxing great Anthony Joshua absolutely destroyed former UFC champion Francis Ngannou last night with a vicious KO.
… annnnd goodnight Francis!
Joshua ended up knocking down Ngannou three times within the first two rounds before connecting with a right hand that put Francis in a different dimension.
To be honest, Ngannou’s loss comes as a pretty big shock considering the former MMA fighter-turned-boxer just fought against Tyson Fury and came VERY close to winning after knocking the heavyweight champion down during their battle.
