Armando Bacot Is NOT Returning To UNC Just Because Of NIL Money As He Embraces Old Age With Need To Prove NBA Worth

The Fighting Irish reportedly have secured their new men’s basketball coach.
Notre Dame is reportedly finalizing a seven-year deal with Penn State’s Micah Shrewsberry to become the Fighting Irish’s next men’s basketball coach, per Sports Illustrated’s Pat Forde.
The news comes a day after Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reported that Shrewsberry was the top choice to become Notre Dame’s next head coach after the program parted ways with Mike Brey after the 2022-23 season. Shrewsberry also had been  linked to Georgetown’s head coach vacancy as well.

I’m a sucker for a good player poll. In this case, the word “sucker” is apropos because I was roped into reading through, quite possibly the dullest player poll ever.

The Panthers, who hold the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL draft, showed up in full force to see Stroud perform in Columbus. Among those in attendance were team owner David Tepper, general manager Scott Fitterer and head coach Frank Reich.

It’s a bad day to be a Los Angeles basketball fan. Whether you’re a delusional Lakers fan praying for a play-in spot with 10 regular-season games left or a hopeless Clippers junkie, LA basketball is six feet in the dumps.
No Hope For Clippers (And Lakers)
Coming into this final stretch of NBA basketball, the Clippers were shouldering most of the expectations for both LA squads of making a deep run.

For many of the young men who’ve anchored this ambitious generation of American players through one World Cup cycle and now into another, the U.S. national team has been a refuge as well as a springboard.
