Timberwolves All-Star Anthony Edwards doesn’t seem like he’d be worried about a potential matchup with the Clippers in the NBA playoffs.
With six minutes and 15 seconds remaining in the second quarter on Tuesday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves trailed the LA Clippers by 21 points, down 53-32. The Wolves, just 1-2 since losing 2024 All-Star MVP Karl-Anthony Towns for (at least) the rest of the regular season due to a torn meniscus, could have folded.
But Anthony Edwards wasn’t having that.

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — Saying that the golf world is “sick of all the fighting,” Rory McIlroy again called for the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia to get a deal done as soon as possible.
“The more we go down this road, the more people will tune in just four times a year,” McIlroy said, referencing the four major championships.
McIlroy, who late last year gave up his seat on the PGA Tour Policy Board, spoke Wednesday morning at TPC Sawgrass, site of this week’s Players Championship, the tour’s flagship event.

The post-NFL career of Peyton Manning has forayed into a successful tenure in media.
But even for someone as accomplished as Manning, his latest venture is a prominent next step.
Manning is set to join NBC’s Mike Tirico in Paris this summer to help anchor the network’s coverage of the Olympic opening ceremony. Manning won’t be the only prominent sidekick to Tirico on the broadcast. NBC also will have Grammy Award-winning singer Kelly Clarkson as part of the network’s television coverage of the ceremony.
