Albany State University coach Quinn Gray has apologized for offering Marcus Stokes a scholarship.
The four star QB recruit recently revealed he had earned a scholarship offer from the D.II Rams. Stokes had previously been committed to the Florida Gators, but lost his scholarship offer after he filmed himself singing lyrics that contained a racial slur.

Las Vegas players weighed in on their thoughts of the seven-time All-Star joining the franchise.
The Aces shook up the WNBA landscape Saturday when two-time WNBA champion Candace Parker announced on Instagram that she was signing with the Las Vegas Aces.
The moves comes one week after Las Vegas dealt star forward Dearica Hamby and a 2024 first-round pick in a blockbuster trade to the Sparks in exchange for a second-round pick and the negotiating rights to forward Amanda Zahui B.
As Parker’s post surfaced social media, her new Aces teammates shared some pretty hilarious reactions.

The Lakers guard used a prop to plead the case of a missed foul call on LeBron James in the final seconds of regulation, but was ultimately unsuccessful.
LeBron James was hoping to lead the Lakers to a victory against the Celtics on Saturday at TD Garden—however, an incorrect call by officials in the final seconds of regulation resulted in the opposite outcome for the four-time NBA champion.
After Celtics star Jaylen Brown notched a free throw to the tie game at 105, James drove to the basket to try and convert a layup within the final four seconds of the game.

How do you miss this call?
The Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics have the most storied rivalry in the NBA, but these days the teams are at opposite ends of the standings. The Celtics are coming off an NBA Finals appearance and currently have the best record in the Eastern Conference. The Lakers are just hoping to make the play-in tournament in the West, and right now own the third-worst record in the conference. The two teams played on Saturday night and gave us a more exciting game than anyone could have anticipated.

Oklahoma State did not hold back as Ole Miss basketball traveled to Stillwater on Saturday. Not only did the Cowboys put a 22-point beatdown on the Rebels in the Big-12/SEC Challenge, its student newspaper took a direct shot at the school’s former quarterback, Spencer Sanders, and his new program.
Sanders, a former four-star recruit in the Class of 2018, played his first five years at Oklahoma State. He won the starting job in 2019 after redshirting in his first season and went 31-11 as a starter.
