This week LIV Golf has dropped into Sheung Shui and the Hong Kong Golf Club, and it’s offering its customary $25 million purse, with $4 million set for the individual winner. This is LIV’s first trip to Hong Kong in its three-year history.
It’s been another busy week of LIV Golf news off the course, as LIV announced that it would drop its bid to receive points from the Official World Golf Ranking. Anthony Kim is competing for the second straight week as an individual and not part of a team.

It’s refreshing to watch a player on an NBA podium deliver a selfless message.
More names in pro sports are expressing the importance of their faith — crediting the aspect as a key to success in their respective careers.
Among the Jesus followers is Detroit Pistons guard Jaden Ivey, who spoke about his faith after Thursday’s win against the Ben Simmons-less Nets. The Pistons won, 118-112.

With free agency looming, here are 10 (ish) bold predictions, ranging in boldness from very mild to mango-habanero level, if we’re using the Buffalo Wild Wings scale.
Wisconsin Badgers basketball coach Greg Gard bought himself some breathing room Thursday night after beating Rutgers.
The Badgers entered the final appearance at the Kohl Center of the season with a 2-7 record in the team’s last nine games.
Wisconsin has been on a humiliating skid, and as I said prior to the game, I had absolutely zero faith in the team to win. The Badgers went from possibly being a one or two seed to being a bubble team. It was beyond embarrassing.
Will Francis Ngannou get his first boxing win?
The Pittsburgh Penguins parted ways with a key member of their core on Thursday, offloading star winger Jake Guentzel in a blockbuster trade with the Carolina Hurricanes ahead of Friday’s deadline.
The trade was finalized following the games of both teams on Friday, and after the Penguins’ brutal 6–0 defeat against the Washington Capitals, Sidney Crosby didn’t offer too much insight on his thoughts on the decision to move on from his longtime teammate.
Anthony Edwards scored 44 points and soared to reject a last-second layup to give the short-handed Timberwolves a 113-111 victory over the Pacers on Thursday night.
Karl-Anthony Towns will have surgery to repair his knee next week, and sources said he is expected back by early in the Western Conference playoffs.
