With the play-in tournament starting two Tuesdays from now, six teams have punched their ticket past and straight into the playoffs with six spots still up for grabs.
Denver, Memphis, and Milwaukee have all clinched their division titles while Boston, Philadelphia, and Cleveland have all clinched a spot as well.

Ole Miss and Southern Miss baseball met on the diamond in Pearl, Mississippi on Tuesday night. The game was played on Trustmark Field, home of the Mississippi Braves, the Southern League Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.
Technically, though, it never happened. The college baseball game was declared a no contest in the middle of the fourth inning on account of poor sod.
The Golden Eagles were up 2-1 in the bottom half with no outs and no one on when junior Matthew Etzel laid down a bunt down the third base line.

Florida Atlantic had one hell of a run, but the Owls may as well not even bother making the trip to Houston. Unfortunately for FAU, loser Mattress Mack has inserted himself into the conversation, and will almost assuredly be the downfall of this great run.
Sad!
Mack, the Houston-based gambler who hasn’t won a thing since last baseball season, has apparently struck an NIL deal with the school that will allow them to bring friends and family to the Final Four.
Sounds pretty cool, right? Wrong! Mattress Mack is also hosting a dinner for the players AND giving them a pep talk.

These next five games could decide their playoff fate.
Good morning, I’m Dan Gartland. Before we get started, just take a moment to appreciate how unfathomable Wisconsin’s collapse in the men’s NIT semifinals last night was.

The NFL can’t do this to its players or its fans.
The NFL made a big schedule change Wednesday at the owners meetings when it was announced that teams could play two Thursday night games per season, instead of the one game that was the previous limit.
A decision on one other possible major change—a proposal allowing Thursday Night Football games to be flexed—was pushed back until May, the league said.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was not a fan about possibly playing two Thursday night games in a season, and neither was former NFL star J.J. Watt.

New England is reportedly going forward with Mac Jones in 2023.
The Patriots will not be pursuing Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson this offseason, according to The Athletic’s Jeff Lowe. The report comes off the heels of team owner Robert Kraft saying rapper Meek Mill texted him that Jackson was interested in joining New England on Monday. The rapper is a mutual friend.
Despite this and Jackson’s latest announcement that he requested to be traded on March 2, it doesn’t look like the Patriots are interested and will stick with Mac Jones next season.

The NFL commissioner stood by the league’s discussions regarding the potential for flex scheduling moving forward.
The NFL did not have enough support to approve a proposal for flex scheduling of Thursday Night Football games when it was taken to a vote on Tuesday, and will now reportedly try again in May, according to Sports Illustrated‘s Albert Breer.
The proposed rule from the league would provide the NFL the ability to flex late-season games from Sunday to Thursday with a 15-day notice for its Amazon streaming package.

Jim Irsay thinks giving up multiple first round picks for Lamar Jackson might be a bridge too far.
Lamar Jackson, who has asked Baltimore to dump him, is currently attempting to land himself a monster deal, and there’s speculation he wants something similar to Deshaun Watson’s fully guaranteed five-year, $230 million contract.
So far, the Ravens don’t seem eager to give it to him, and with him on a non-exclusive franchise tag, Jackson can test the market. If a team signs him and the Ravens don’t match, Baltimore will get two first round picks.
