Occasionally, old Saban clips bubble back up on Twitter, and it’s always a great reminder just how smart the Crimson Tide leader is.

UFC fighter Merab Dvalishvili tried to hop into the stands at UFC San Antonio to go after a fan.
A fan was trash talking and chirping the Georgia-born fighter about getting in the octagon against his friend and teammate Aljamain Sterling. The two have previously stated they’re not interested in fighting each other, according to BJPenn.com.
Well, Dvalishvili didn’t take kindly to essentially being accused of ducking his buddy. While dropping f-bombs, Dvalishvili jumped up and pulled himself up into the stands looking for serious trouble.

The Italian manager’s time with Spurs has come to an end after a tumultuous 16 months with the club.
After a roller coaster of a 16-month spell in charge, Antonio Conte’s time at Tottenham has come to a fiery end.
Spurs announced that the 53-year-old manager was leaving the club Sunday following a disastrous draw to last-place Southampton last week. After the match, which Tottenham gave up a 3–1 lead with less than 20 minutes to play, the Italian used his postgame press conference to lambast club ownership, players and the team’s mindset.

FAU football coach Tom Herman was feeling himself while watching the Owls punch a ticket to the Final Four.
The Owls did the unthinkable over the weekend and advanced to the Final Four as a nine seed after beating Kansas State 79-76. It was one of the best games of the NCAA Tournament, and the Final Four will now feature two mid-major schools – San Diego State being the other.

KD wasn’t a fan of Chuck’s latest hot take.
After Charles Barkley made some comments about Kevin Durant during an interview on 60 Minutes on Sunday night, the Suns forward responded via Twitter.
During the interview, Barkley said that Durant was “very sensitive” and added that he’s “part of that generation who think they can’t be criticized.” 
It’s not the first time the Hall of Famer has been critical of Durant, who suggested the 60-year-old’s constant fault-finding was becoming overplayed.

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton heard the rumors of fielding trade offers for top Broncos wideouts Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton.
Payton issued a stern response negating the reports, shutting down Denver’s interest in trading the valuable players.
The veteran coach, acquired from the New Orleans Saints for a 2023 first-round pick and 2024 second-round pick, said he’s aware that the Broncos are low on trade capital but will be retaining Jeudy and Sutton in 2023.

The superstar dropped 41 points as the Hawkeyes made their second-ever Final Four.
Caitlin Clark and Iowa are Final Four bound.
The superstar guard led the charge for the Hawkeyes as they cruised to a 97–83 victory against Louisville in the Elite Eight on Sunday night. It’ll be the program’s first trip to the Final Four since 1993. 
It was a historic night for Clark, who became the first player in women’s NCAA tournament history to record a 40-point triple-double. Her performance also made her the first to record a 30-point triple-double during the Big Dance.
