The NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament and the WNBA Draft may be in the books, but the Caitlin Clark effect is still… uh… in full effect, and San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is feeling it.
Kittle and his wife Claire — who used to be an Iowa basketball player — were in the house for Clark and Co.’s second–round game against West Virginia at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
While they were there, they got the chance to talk to the new Indiana Fever guard.
“She’s incredibly personable. She’s charismatic.

There aren’t many goalies in hockey that inspire the level of fear that Sergei Bobrovsky does, and on Tuesday night he showed why. Bob was at his typical brilliance for the entire game against the Lightning, but this save with the game on the line was on another level.

A backhanded glove save just isn’t something that should happen.

Terrible. That’s one of the many negative adjectives one could use to describe Jackson Holliday’s first couple of weeks in MLB. Despite how terrible the start of his young career has been, the 20-year-old doesn’t appear to have lost an ounce of confidence.
Holliday, baseball’s top prospect entering the 2024 campaign, has stepped to the plate 34 times since making his MLB debut on April 10. He’s managed to pick up just two hits, draw two walks, and has struck out a whopping 18 times.

Thailand, which has transformed into a youth hockey juggernaut in recent years, outshot Kuwait 122-1 in the win.

Reggie Bush reportedly is getting his Heisman Trophy back, and an official announcement appears imminent.
The former USC Trojans running back lost his 2005 Heisman after it was determined he took benefits that violated NCAA rules. Specifically, his family allegedly received housing and money in violation of NCAA rules. That would now be allowed in the NIL era, and that appears to be the catalyst for the former college and NFL player getting the trophy back.

The LSU women’s basketball team has not played a game since April 1, but the drama goes on.
The defending national champion Tigers went quietly in an Elite Eight loss to Caitlin Clark and Iowa in Albany, New York, and it was no April Fool’s prank. LSU trailed by double digits throughout the second half and by as many as 14 late before falling, 94-87. But they have not gone quietly since.
A mysterious tweet by Angel Reese still has people wondering exactly what she meant.
