Scheffler has started to separate from the field at the 88th Masters Tournament, showing why he’s World No. 1.
Scottie Scheffler is once again showing the golfing world why he is the number one ranked player.
Scheffler entered Sunday’s final round of The Masters with a one shot lead. But the leaderboard was stacked and bunched. Two-time major champion Collin Morikawa is paired with him.
Max Homa, Ludvig Aberg and Bryson DeChambeau were each a couple shots back.

Marcell Ozuna saved the day for the Atlanta Braves.
In an incredibly decisive at-bat Sunday, Ozuna flipped the clutch switch.
The Miami Marlins had the Braves down to a final out and an 0-2 count on Ozuna, 7-6, in the ninth.
Given his rocky start to the year, Miami’s Tanner Scott made fans anxious about the save situation.
Braves fans were the most on edge but unlike the Marlins fans, there was faith in Ozuna to deliver, batting .373 with seven homers (1st in MLB) so far this season. Ozuna delivered; connecting for a booming home run.

We’ve all been baffled by what constitutes a balk in baseball. A pitcher’s leeway for ‘disengagement’ and the rules to govern these “balks” can lead to unending debates among MLB fans.
New York Yankees pitcher Nestor Cortes is sparking a debate on what constitutes a “balk” after using a playful pitching motion. “Nasty” Nestor is known for sometimes swinging his lead leg repeatedly before releasing his pitch.
Cortes revved up his signature motion Sunday, starting against the Cleveland Guardians.

Phil Mickelson envisions LIV Golf altering its format, which could lead to more opportunities at majors.
Everyone knows that LIV Golf facilitates 54-hole events, similar to the PGA Tour Champions.
But major championships, like this week’s Masters Tournament, are played over 72 holes—similar to other prominent circuits around the world, like the PGA Tour.

The Cavs tanking the last game of the season reeks of cowardice and idiocy
The Cleveland Cavaliers had a lot at stake in the final game of the regular season against the lowly Charlotte Hornets. It was possible for the Cavs to climb as high as No. 2 in the Eastern Conference playoff picture with a win plus losses from the Bucks and Knicks. Cleveland also knew it would fall to the No. 4 seed with a loss to Charlotte.
The Cavs entered the fourth quarter with an eight-point against the Hornets.
