The quarterback leaves New York with a 2–5 starting record.
The Dolphins are planning to sign Jets quarterback Mike White to a two-year, $16 million deal, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Monday.
White will serve as the primary backup for Dolphins starter Tua Tagovailoa as he switches allegiances in the AFC East.
Last season, the Jets finished last in the division standings at 7–10, while the Dolphins finished second at 9–8. The Dolphins then lost in the wild-card round to the Bills.

As the XFL returned to St. Louis on Sunday night, the good people of ‘The Lou’ made it abundantly clear that it is, in fact, a football city. Even if Stan Kroenke thinks otherwise!
Back in 2020, before COVID-19 shut down the second iteration of the league, Battlehawks fans led the XFL with an average of 28,000 fans in two games. They surpassed that number during their team’s first home game of the 2023 season.
St. Louis plays at The Dome at America’s Center, which housed the Rams from 1995 to 2015.
The Denver Broncos are trying desperately to help Russell Wilson. They fired head coach Nathaniel Hackett and hired Sean Payton. Now, just hours into free agency, they are giving offensive lineman Mike McGlinchey the BAG.

This is a great deal for McGlinchey. Not only does he get PAID but the expectations aren’t all that high. After all, letting up sacks in Denver isn’t that big of a deal.
Denver allowed an NFL-worst 63 sacks last season.
Former 49ers offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey is set to sign with the Broncos, ESPN’s Dianna Russini reports. The deal is expected to be for five years and worth $87.5 million with $50 million guaranteed, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
San Francisco selected McGlinchey in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft, and the tackle spent the past five seasons as a starter for the team, including in his rookie season.
Stoudamire will replace recently fired Josh Pastner.
Georgia Tech will hire Boston Celtics assistant Damon Stoudamire as the school’s new head coach, according to a report from ESPN’s Pete Thamel and Jeff Borzello.
The contract for Stoudamire is for five years, as he will quickly replace Josh Pastner, who was fired last week after seven seasons with the school.
Stoudamire’s hire is expected to be approved by the university’s board of trustees on Monday, as he looks to revive a Yellow Jackets program that has struggled to remain relevant in the ACC.
The Eagles understood they were going to see talent leave in free agency, but losing defensive tackle Javon Hargrave and watching him go to the 49ers hurts even more.
Hargrave has agreed to a four-year contract with the 49ers worth $84 million, per multiple reports. It is the richest contract signed by a defensive player so far in the early moments of the negotiating period of free agency.
And this is going to leave a mark for the Eagles.

The quarterback started two games for the Raiders last year.
The Broncos are expected to sign former Raiders quarterback Jarrett Stidham to a two-year, $10 million, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports. The quarterback is expected to get $5 million guaranteed.
Stidham was drafted out of Auburn by the Patriots in 2019, and after three years in New England, he was traded to Las Vegas last year. When the Raiders benched Derek Carr for the final two games of the season, Stidham got the starts and recorded 584 passing yards with four touchdown passes and three interceptions.
Conference tournament week was an opportunity to see every tournament team in action in a pressure-packed environment. Here are the takeaways.
Ryan Reaves is one of the baddest dudes in the NHL and managed to win a fight without throwing a single punch over the weekend. It might not have even qualified as a “fight.”
Prior to Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Wild, the Arizona Coyotes called up left winger Bokondji “Boko” Imama for the second time during the 2022-23 season. He wasn’t ready for what was to happen next.
Early in the first period, as a group of Coyotes chased a loose puck down the ice, Reaves was in hot pursuit.
The Packers and All-Pro kick return specialist Keisean Nixon have agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension, keeping the 25-year-old in Green Bay according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The deal will run for one season and carries a maximum possible value of $6 million, per the report.
While there’s plenty of uncertainty surrounding the Packers this offseason as the organization awaits the decision of Aaron Rodgers, the organization managed to secure one of its most valuable special teams assets for the 2023 campaign.
