ORLANDO – It would make sense for former Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh to like former Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy as an NFL prospect because, well, the player helped the coach win a national championship last season.
But Harbaugh doesn’t merely like McCarthy as a person and a prospect. He loves him.
As in Harbaugh believes the comparison between McCarthy and the other quarterbacks in the draft makes a great statement about McCarthy.

A pair of wrestling national champions showed their support for Jesus Christ over the weekend by wearing headbands that read ‘100% Jesus’ across the front of them at the NCAA Championship meet.
Penn State’s Aaron Brooks, along with his Nittany Lions teammate Carter Starocci, became four-time NCAA champions over the weekend with Brooks taking down NC State’s Trent Hidlay to win the title.

The opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament is always one of the busiest times of the year in Las Vegas. It’s right up there with the Super Bowl and the opening weekend of college football.
As a Las Vegas fan, I can promise you there are few things more entertaining and fun than cooking up parlays and drinking in a sportsbook for hours and hours.
However, it turns out not everyone is happy with March Madness fans descending on Sin City.

When Max Verstappen’s RB20 suffered a failure early in the Australian Grand Prix, it opened the door for one of Red Bull’s rivals to secure a tremendous result. The 2023 American League season came down to a Lone Star State Showdown in the Championship Series. Amazingly, the Houston Astros were back in the LCS for the seventh year in a row, one shy of the record held by the ‘90s Atlanta Braves. They haven’t missed baseball’s Final Four since, well, the last time the Texas Rangers made the playoffs before 2023.

Here’s how the biggest conference in college basketball are performing during the 2024 men’s NCAA tournament.
The ACC and Big East were the big winners during the opening weekend of the 2024 men’s NCAA tournament. Nearly half the remaining Sweet 16 comes from those two conferences as schools from the ACC and Big East were a combined 7-0 in the Round of 32.
Things weren’t so great for the Big 12 and SEC. Despite both leagues getting eight bids and four top-four seeds each, the Big 12 and SEC each have two teams remaining.

Ilia Malinin landed six quads and put up the highest score in the history of the competition.

First road course down and, yep, we had pissed off drivers, pit-road confrontations, a couple F-bombs and F-Yous, and even a NASCAR WAG sighting at the beach. 
OK, that last one had nothing to do with the first four, but you catch my drift. 
Not a bad little road race yesterday at COTA, huh? I mean, it wasn’t the best. I’ve certainly seen better. William Byron winning probably won’t set the ratings on fire (and by probably I mean definitely won’t), but it wasn’t awful. 
Is that a low bar in today’s NASCAR? Sure.

As a former Auburn Tiger, it’s incredibly rare for Charles Barkley to say something that could even be perceived as a compliment to the University of Alabama, but Grand Canyon left him no choice on Sunday night.
The Lopes gave the Crimson Tide quite a fight trailing by just eight points at halftime before ultimately falling 72-61, but Barkley wasn’t impressed by what he saw from Grand Canyon, at all.
Recapping the game during CBS’ postgame show, Barkley went as far as to say the Lopes played the “dumbest game of basketball” he had ever witnessed.
