Clark’s 3-pointers aren’t falling as frequently. Watkins’ field goal percentage has dipped.
The start to the new season for the Miami Marlins could not have gotten off to a worse start after the Pittsburgh Pirates traveled to South Florida and swept the four-game series. Marlins centerfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. has come to the conclusion that the team opening the roof of LoanDepot Park had quite a bit to do with Miami’s struggles.
Chisholm, who did hit a grand slam in the fourth game of the series, put some of the blame on the Marlins being swept on shadows throughout the ballpark.
“That we couldn’t see,” Chisholm said, per ESPN. “That’s all.
The sports world is taking notice of the NC State Wolfpack after they upset the Duke Blue Devils on Sunday to punch a ticket to the Final Four. And perhaps no one is getting more attention right now than DJ Burns — in the men’s tournament, at least.
Burns put up 29 points in the 76-64 win and then immediately trolled the Blue Devils on his Instagram story. He posted a video of his teammate DJ Horne hitting a clutch 3-pointer late in the game and superimposed a clip of Duke guard Jared McCain doing a TikTok dance over the highlight.

Clark is winning.
Caitlin Clark is one of the greatest women’s basketball players of all-time. She’s also definitely the wealthiest. The Iowa star arrived at the perfect time to capitalize on NIL rules hitting college sports, and it’s made her a millionaire.
A lot has been made of Clark’s eventual jump to the WNBA, specifically the money she’ll be making. The league still lags far behind in compensation, with Clark set to make a paltry $77,000 as the No. 1 overall pick.

The Atlanta Braves broadcast team came up with a hysterical roast of Philadelphia Phillies fans yesterday.
As soon as Orlando Arcia stepped into the batter’s box, Phillies fans showered boos upon the Braves’ shortstop. That drew a laugh from analyst C.J. Nitkowski, who said that Phillies fans boo far more than any other fan base in the MLB.
“This place, more than any other,” Nitkowski said. “It’s either against your team, for your team, for the opponent.
It’s been just a few weeks since Saquon Barkley signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, and the two-time Pro Bowler is wasting no time getting acquainted with his new quarterback.
Barkley posted a photo to his Instagram story on Sunday of what appears to be a training session with Jalen Hurts.
The post comes just weeks after Barkley left the New York Giants in free agency after six seasons with the organization. The running back signed a three-year contract with Philadelphia worth $37.75 million with $26 million guaranteed.

Of course, it could be passed next week in the national championship game, but one game at a time, please.
