Paige Bueckers finds herself in the same position as everyone else in the 2024 women’s NCAA tournament: Playing second fiddle to Caitlin Clark. While Clark is getting all the press, leading reports on ESPN, and being credited with revolutionizing women’s basketball, Bueckers is writing another incredible chapter in her own story, one that could turn her into the household name of 2025.
There’s been no shortage of discussion around how brilliant Bueckers is.

All due deference to the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournaments and the Masters, but this year April is NFL Draft month. The festivities begin on Thursday, April 25, with the first of seven rounds slated to get underway. Over three days in Detroit all 32 NFL teams will try and shape their present .. and future.

Anthony Kim didn’t just disappear from the world of professional golf in 2012, he essentially went into hiding.  He had not been seen or heard from since his surprise return to the sport with LIV Golf earlier this year. 
One of the many rumors about Kim living a secret life for the past 12 years centered around an insurance policy. It has long been believed that Kim had an insurance policy that would pay him $10-20 million in the case of a career-ending injury and if he were to accept that money, then he would not be allowed to play on the PGA Tour again.

The rise of Anthony Kim during the early 2010s mystified the golf world. His exciting, aggressive style led many to believe he would become the next American superstar.

Moments after Iowa knocked off LSU 94-87 in what was an instant classic Elite Eight contest, Tigers head coach Kim Mulkey and Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark shared a quick embrace during the handshake line. Mulkey later shared what exactly it was that she told Clark in the moment, and let’s just say she isn’t sad to see Clark take her talents to the WNBA next season.
Outside a few lazy turnovers early in the game, Clark was exceptional against the Tigers, scoring 41 points to go along with 12 assists and seven rebounds.

The New York Mets social media team thought they were being witty after firing off a tweet at the Chicago Cubs, and it backfired terribly.
It all went down yesterday when video of the Cubs pregame ceremony festivities became a laughable example of a mediocre organization. As each player was announced, the most bootleg ‘sparklers’ display I’ve ever seen went off as if it was a high school gymnasium dance.
Video quickly made the rounds showing only one half of the ‘pyrotechnic’ display actually working before it began fizzling out.
