After a difficult Australian Grand Prix, Mercedes seems on the front foot heading into the weekend at Suzuka
Two weeks ago Mercedes endured a brutal Australian Grand Prix.
If Friday at Suzuka is any indication, the Silver Arrows might deliver a strong bounceback at the Japanese Grand Prix.
The team left Melbourne battered, bruised, and without anything to show for their efforts Down Under. Lewis Hamilton’s day ended early as his W15 suffered a failure after just 15 laps.

The Huskies know they can’t stop Clark, but they’ll try to make the game on Friday as difficult as possible.
UConn women’s basketball has become plenty familiar with defending elite scorers during its NCAA tournament run.
In the second round, the Huskies went up against Syracuse’s Dyaisha Fair, who finished her career third on the women’s Division I all-time scoring list. In the Elite Eight, they faced USC’s JuJu Watkins, who set the women’s freshman scoring record.

The Red Bull-backed driver made his F1 weekend debut at the Japanese Grand Prix
Rainy and wet conditions cut short the second practice session at the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix on Friday. As a result the ten F1 teams head into Saturday’s qualifying day with less information at their disposal than they may have hoped for going into the weekend.
But one driver was not going to let that rain on parade.

Vice President Kamala Harris took a break from ignoring the border crisis on Thursday for a quick trip to Charlotte, NC to announce $20 billion worth of climate and clean energy products across the United States. Given that a camera and microphone were within a few feet of her, she of course had to say something that was both ridiculous and untrue, and this time around the subject was the NCAA Women’s basketball tournament.

Molly Qerim thinks Paige Bueckers’ health is somehow tied to Caitlin Clark’s incredible success.
Bueckers and Clark will battle it out Friday night when UConn and Iowa take the court in the Final Four. It should be an absolutely incredible night of college basketball, and millions of fans can’t wait to watch it unfold.
There’s an extra layer of drama because Clark wanted to be recruited by UConn, but it never happened. Paige Bueckers was crowned the chosen one for the Huskies and Clark turned into a star for Iowa.

Caitlin Clark doesn’t want to be remembered by all her individual accomplishments.
The Iowa Hawkeyes and Clark play UConn Friday night for a spot in the national title game. The stakes couldn’t be higher and the eyes of the nation will be upon them.
Clark is the highest-scoring player in the history of major college basketball, and she simply transcends the sport. Yet, that’s not what she wants her legacy to be.
The Iowa superstar wants her teammates and herself to be remembered for how they made people feel.
