Earlier this year, Formula 1 announced that it rejected a joint bid to join the grid from Andretti Global and GM’s Cadillac. The decision has been divisive in many circles but I don’t think you’ll have a hard time guessing how Mario Andretti feels about the snub.
Immediately after news broke that F1 had shot down a possible entry spearheaded by his son, Michael, Andretti tweeted that he was “devastated.”
Some say time heals all wounds, but apparently, it doesn’t heal having strong plans for an Andretti-Cadillac F1 team Dikembe Mutmobo’ed by F1.

Faldo took to social media once again after Rahm had a very poor performance at Augusta National.
Sir Nick Faldo is regarded as one of the more decorated and respected players in the history of professional golf. Faldo won three Masters Tournaments and three Open Championships during his illustrious career.
Suffice it to say that he knows what it takes to play at the highest level on the biggest stages.

Dave McCarty, a first baseman and outfielder on the 2004 Red Sox team that won the World Series, died Friday in Oakland, California. He was 54.

That’s what NBA star Larry Nance Jr. realized on the spot when he mistakenly used the phrase “betting on” when talking about the playoffs with reporters. 
Immediately, Nance realized how what he said could be taken the wrong way and clarified that he was in fact not betting on basketball while also taking a slight jab at former Raptors forward Jontay Porter.
“Respectfully, I’m betting on the Pelicans,” the 31-year-old center began. “[Wait a minute] No, I’m not betting.

Jim Harbaugh is a man of his word.
The now-Los Angeles Chargers head coach returned to Ann Arbor on Saturday — both to pick up his National Championship rings and to make good on a promise he made months ago.
During Michigan’s run in this year’s College Football Playoff, Harbaugh told his players that he would get his first tattoo if they won the title.
“I’m going to put it on my shoulder,” he said at the time. “I don’t know if it’s my left or right yet. I’m a right-handed quarterback, I’ll probably get it on my right.

Sparks spent seven season as co-host of the popular golf reality series.

Stephanie Sparks, a former LPGA golfer who later appeared in several Golf Channel shows, passed away on April 13 at the age of 50. No information on her cause of death was given.
Before joining the professional tour, Sparks was an All-American golfer for the Duke University Blue Devils. She won several tournaments at the amateur level, including the 1992 North and South Women’s Amateur and the 1993 Women’s Western Amateur and Women’s Eastern Amateur. In 1994, she represented the U.S. in the Curtis Cup.
Unfortunately, her professional career was less distinguished.

The Toronto Blue Jays played the New York Yankees a lot better at home than they did in the Bronx. And according to YES Network broadcaster Michael Kay, there might be a reason for that.
During Wednesday night’s broadcast, Kay seemed to insinuate the Blue Jays were cheating — suggesting they are a “completely different team” at the Rogers Centre than they are on the road.
The Jays won two of the three games this week against the Yanks, handing New York its first series loss of the season. The Yankees got the better of the Blue Jays in NYC earlier this month.
