The WNBA Draft had fans in Indianapolis showing up by the thousands to watch the Indiana Fever select Caitlin Clark with the first overall pick. 
One of the biggest events in WNBA history, all eyes were on the draft in Brooklyn on Monday night. While fans were lined up outside the venue to get a glimpse of stars like Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, the city of Indianapolis turned out in a massive way for their local WNBA squad. 
The anticipation of what is coming for the city was on full display, as fans flooded the Gambridge Fieldhouse partaking in events in and outside the arena.

Kansas City Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice has been sued by two motorists involved in the multi-car collision that occurred in late March in Dallas. 
Rice faces eight charges stemming from the collision, including six counts of collision involving bodily injury, one count of collision involving severe bodily injury and one count of aggravated assault, as noted in a statement by the Dallas Police Department.
The collision involved four additional vehicles and injured seven people.

The WNBA Draft is set for Monday night at 7:30 p.m. ET from the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York.
Iowa’s Caitlin Clark is projected to be the first overall pick in this year’s draft class, heading to the Indiana Fever to start her professional career. It was announced last week that the Fever will have 36 of it 40 regular season games air on national television this season and one can only assume this is in preparation for the college star’s arrival to the WNBA.
