What is “Mad Dog” mad about today? The Carolina Panthers raising ticket prices.
On Wednesday, ESPN analyst Chris Russo blew up at a recent report that stated the Panthers planned to raise ticket prices by “slightly more than four percent” going into the 2024 NFL season.
Russo skewered the Panthers in a scathing two-minute rant for having the audacity to make such a move. Carolina is coming off a 2—15 campaign which consisted of mediocre quarterback play from Alabama product Bryce Young and a midseason head coach sacking, among other bumps along the road.

To say Anthony Kim has been living in the shadows over the last 12 years would be an understatement, he’s been more like a ghost. Not only was the former PGA Tour star never spotted out in public, but he’s been completely dark on social media for the last decade-plus as well.
Ahead of his return to professional golf with LIV this weekend in Jeddah, the 38-year-old broke his radio silence and shared a video to his brand-new anthonykimofficial Instagram account.

It can be difficult to remember at times, given their fame and fortune, that NFL players at their heart are ordinary employees with concerns you’d expect of any working American.
If there’s one day a year that bears out that fact, it’s the release of the NFL Players Association’s annual team-by-team report cards. The survey allows the players to grade their employers on everyday elements such as the treatment of their families—an area in which four teams in particular were found lacking this season.

Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Dončić turns 25 on Wednesday, and the MVP candidate will look to pick up a bounce-back win after the team’s stunning loss at the buzzer against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday evening.
Dončić is in his sixth NBA season, and he’s gotten off to a historic start to his career in Dallas. An offensive juggernaut, Dončić has recorded the third most points by a player before their 25th birthday in league history (10,825), trailing only LeBron James (13,927) and Kevin Durant (12,258).

I am part of the problem.
After the NBA trade deadline, I ranked NBA Finals contenders, and I put the Cleveland Cavaliers 10th. Tenth! Behind teams such as the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks, despite Cleveland being ahead of both in the East standings.
I’m not the only one who feels this way. ESPN gives the Knicks and Bucks better title odds. FanDuel’s sportsbook does as well. With the Boston Celtics a heavy favorite regardless of conference, it seems the general consensus on the Cavs is they have the fourth-best chance to win the East even though they’re in second place.
