The Chiefs were hit with a bad case of friendly fire.
Kansas City suffered its worst sequence of the season so far when Patrick Mahomes threw an interception and then lost top receiver Rashee Rice to an apparent knee injury on the same play.
Mahomes went for the tackle on Kristian Fulton after the Chargers DB intercepted him. Pat missed his assignment and accidentally busted Rice’s knee as the wideout also pursued the defender.
WATCH:
It was a terrible collision for Rice that may either A.) sideline him for several weeks or B.) sideline him for the entire year.

Team USA won the Presidents Cup for the 10th straight time. Let’s look at the winners and losers from Royal Montreal.
Team USA dominated at Royal Montreal, winning the Presidents Cup over the Internationals 18.5 to 11.5.
Keegan Bradley’s point clinched the Presidents Cup, but the Americans went on to win two more matches, lose two and tie two.
This week produced such an entertaining Presidents Cup full of excitement and drama. Despite some television coverage issues, both teams gave fans plenty to watch.

It didn’t quite end as the blowout it promised to be at the beginning. The Minnesota Vikings actually had to survive on onside kick inside a minute to play to seal Sunday’s victory over the Green Bay Packers.
So?
The Vikings are 4-0. They’re only one of the NFL’s four undefeated teams. They’re leading their division. And they’ve just passed a significant milestone in their schedule.
But to hear the Vikings talk after Sunday’s win, they’re not too thrilled.
I mean, they’re pleased they’re 4-0. But not that pleased.

With 2:33 to play in the fourth quarter, Georgia took possession, trailing Alabama 33-28. The Bulldogs, who had spotted the Tide a 28-0 lead, had fought their way nearly all the way back. Now they had the ball with a chance to take the lead for the first time all game, a sense of nervous apprehension had settled into Bryant-Denny Stadium.
And then, a bolt of football lighting — a 67-yard touchdown strike from Carson Beck to Dillon Bell — and the Bulldogs had the lead 34-33.

The New York Knicks superfan badgered Aces’ star Kelsey Plum throughout Sunday afternoon’s Liberty win — but she made clear postgame it was all in good fun.
In Sunday afternoon’s New York Liberty win over the Las Vegas Aces, Aces star Kelsey Plum exchanged some words with film director and producer Spike Lee. Lee, a New York Knicks superfan, can be typically found on the sidelines of Madison Square Garden heckling opposing NBA players — but this time, he took center stage at Barclay’s Center.

On Sunday, a Las Vegas Aces versus New York Liberty playoff game escalated into a Kelsey Plum versus Spike Lee face-off.
NY enjoyed the last laugh, but in the long run, consider us Team Plum (for obvious reasons).
The legendary Bronx director Lee was back to yapping on the sideline for Sunday’s WNBA semifinals Game 1.
Kelsey Plum went off in the third quarter to give the Aces, the two-time reigning champs, a shot at beating the home team.
Plum’s moxie seemed to strike a nerve with the port director. Soon, Plum and Lee exchanged verbal spars.
