The Arizona Cardinals have drafted former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck with the No. 65 pick in the 2026 NFL draft. Arizona drafted Beck, who spent the final season of his college career with the Miami Hurricanes, with the first pick of the third-round.
Beck helped lead the Hurricanes all the way to the national championship. He threw a game-sealing interception in Miami’s 27-21 national title loss to Indiana.
Beck, 23, has the talent to compete for the starting role in Arizona. The Cardinals are far from an ideal situation for Beck.

2. Bundesliga: Arminia Bielefeld Magic win bottom-of-table clash over Preußen Münster
Three first-half goals secured massive three points for Arminia Bielefeld in the battle to avoid the drop. The newly-promoted side started the day in 17th place after Friday’s results, but they only stayed there for a few hours.
Bottom-placed Preußen Münster took the lead in the second minute through Yassine Bouchama before Mitch Kniat’s men responded superbly with three goals in the next 30 minutes.

The Baltimore Orioles‘ bullpen has dealt with injuries all season. Despite being battered and bruised, the Orioles’ bullpen is 10th-best in baseball in ERA (3.46) and tied for fourth in saves (nine). 
Winners of two straight games against the Boston Red Sox and the Kansas City Royals, the bullpen will be getting one of its regulars back in Game 2 versus the Red Sox.

The Eagles didn’t trade up in the NFL Draft for USC wide receiver Makai Lemon at No. 20 because they were bored. They did it because they’re preparing for life after A.J. Brown. Philadelphia moved up with the Cowboys to grab Lemon, and we all know the implications. Brown remains on the roster, but all signs point to the Eagles moving on.

Gordon Herbert, who coached Germany to the basketball world title in 2023, has said he was seriously ill last year with heart problems in connection with a coronavirus infection.
“I was very lucky. I was lying in bed with myocarditis and an irregular heartbeat, wondering if I’d pull through. It was a very serious situation. I know that people have died from it,” Herbert told the basketball-world.

The first two days of the NFL Draft are done, but there are gems to be found on Day 3.
History tells us key pieces of Super Bowl rosters will be drafted on Saturday. The hard part, of course, is correctly identifying which players will emerge as NFL regulars, starters and even Pro-Bowlers out of the busiest day of the draft.

The 2026 NFL Draft is winding down, as we prepare for the final day of festivities in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Throughout the afternoon on Saturday, we will see Rounds 3 through 7 take place, so buckle up for a busy day.
Before we kick off Round 4 at 12:00 p.m. ET on ABC, ESPN, and the NFL Network, let’s take a look back at the first two days of action around the league.
