San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama was scratched from Saturday night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks after appearing to injure himself during his pregame warmup routine.
Wembanyama was working out with San Antonio’s assistant coaches when he drove to the basket and landed on the foot of a ball boy who was standing on the baseline watching the rookie’s routine.

The Chicago rookie went upstairs to score a ‘Michigan’ goal against the Blues
Chicago Blackhawks rookie Connor Bedard is already living up to the lofty expectations placed on him when he was drafted first-overall in the 2023 NHL Draft. He has 12 goals and 17 assists on the season, through just 32 games, and is proving to be a dynamic player in the offensive end.
What he did on Saturday night will only add to the growing legend.
With the Blackhawks trailing the St. Louis Blues 1-0 early in the first period, Bedard was able to level the score.

Chicago Blackhawks center Connor Bedard has been airtight so far in 2024. The ballyhooed rookie has tallied 12 goals and 17 assists in the first 32 games of the season.
However, it’s the individual highlights—the moments that hint at his massive, once-in-a-generation potential—that have captivated hockey fans diehard and casual alike. Bedard provided one such highlight Saturday night during an otherwise run-of-the-mill game between the Blackhawks and St. Louis Blues.
About four minutes into the first period, a Bedard miss ricocheted out to Chicago center Philipp Kurashev.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph had a day to remember Saturday at Acrisure Stadium.
Making his first start since 2021, Rudolph threw for 290 yards and two touchdowns, guiding the Steelers to a 34–11 win over the rival Cincinnati Bengals and setting a team season high in points scored.
But it still won’t go down as Rudolph’s best Christmas of all time.
“I got a treehouse when I was 12 but this is definitely up there,” Rudulph jokingly said when asked by reporters if this is the best Christmas of his life.

The Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Chargers are playing in the first NFL game ever broadcasted exclusively on Peacock.
However, people seem more interested in making fun of this fact rather than watching the game.
Fans who tune into this game get to experience a truly commercial-free fourth quarter. That in and of itself sounds enticing, since commercials are the worst part of any live TV experience. But for that to happen, you need to fork over at least $5.99 to get access to Peacock’s streaming service.

As one of the NFL’s best left tackles, San Francisco 49ers star Trent Williams’s reputation precedes him. But, in case that wasn’t already clear, one look at the veteran’s “locker” should drive that point home.
On Saturday, a video showcasing Williams’s impressively sizable set-up in the Niners locker room made the rounds on social media, giving fans an idea of just how much space the 6′ 5″, 320-pound offensive lineman has at his disposal.

Call this one the Mike Tomlin game.
Some pundits will call Saturday’s Pittsburgh Steelers victory over the Cincinnati Bengals the George Pickens game because the young wide receiver had a career afternoon. Other pundits will anoint this the Mason Rudolph game because the backup quarterback came off the bench and helped the Steelers end a three-game losing skid.
Yeah, um, pundits are often wrong. And dumb.
